Braelynn's POV
"Hurry up, I don't know what to wear." Aspen screamed through the phone. I chuckled at her.
"Ok, ok. Geez. I'm driving over right now. I'll be there in a solid 10 minutes. I just want to make a quick stop somewhere." I say as my stomach rumbles.
"You better not be getting food I'm in an emer-," she says before I end the call. Oops, but I'm really hungry and her date isn't for another 1 and a half hours. Yeah, I don't know why she's getting ready so early. Then again, I haven't been on a date since freshman year.
I make a stop at Wendy's and head over to Aspen's house. I juggle all the things in my hands before ringing the doorbell. Usually I would barge in but my hands were too full. Food is the number 1 priority people! A couple seconds later I hear the door slowly open and Aspen is standing there with a bat. What the fuck?
"Oh thank goodness, I thought it was some scary guy or something. You never ring the doorbell, what's up?" Aspen exclaims breathing heavily.
"Well I had all this food in my hands, I couldn't afford to drop it. I got you your favorite, chicken nuggets and a frosty. And I got your siblings some food. They are my favorite." I said as she grabbed some of the food from my hands.
"Ew the devils? They might be cute on the outside but you don't have to live with them. Also, thanks for the food but remember what we are here for. My date with the one, the only Graysonnn!" She sings placing the food on the kitchen table and calling her 5 year old siblings down, Susie and Danny.
"BRAE-BRAE." I hear Susie calling me before she runs into my arms. I giggle.
"Hey Susie, I missed you! Where's Danny?" I asked before handing her the food.
"Well, he's very mad because I told him I was going to throw his bear bear away. It was just a joke, he's so silly." She said giggling. She's too cute.
"Ok, enough with the chit chat, me and Brae have to go get ready for a date." Aspen pops in pulling my hand into her room. Not before I grabbed my bag of food though.
After 45 minutes of picking out what to wear, doing her makeup, and fixing up her hair, she is finally ready for her date with Grayson. Even thinking about his name sends shivers down my spine, ugh.
"Damn, you look so good." I say as I examine her outfit, I wish I could pull off amazing outfits like she wears.
"Thanks babe. But he's coming in 10 minutes and I'm so scared. What if it doesn't work out and he hates me?" Aspen says sadly plopping down onto her bed.
"Oh come on, when has a guy ever rejected you. Ok well once but like, you've been on many of dates." I say trying to cheer her up, obviously I'm not good at this stuff. If you can't tell.
"You are right. I'm a bad bitch and if I guy doesn't like me, well then fuck him." shes says gaining more confidence. I swear this girl and her mood changes.
Suddenly the door bell rang and Aspen rushed down the stairs after saying goodbye. I decided to stay in her room till they left. I thought it would be awkward leaving at the same time as them. I waved goodbye to Aspen's parents and her siblings and headed home. Finally, peace and quiet. I wonder how many hours of sleep I can get this weekend?
