Kay and I finished the rounds of the city. After that we decided to grab some diner at a local diner. "This place is so good, we don't have this place in my universe." Kay said as she shoved a intimidatingly large burger in her mouth. "The waitresses here know me by name. To them I may not be able to speak, but they learned sign language for me. Or for time purposes I just point to what I want." I said as I took a sip of my crisp yet watered down sprite. Kay finished her burger and I my sprite. "Why didn't you get food?" Kay asked. "I usually just get a drink, I eat at home most of the time." I explained."You order takeout or something?" She chuckled. "No, I used to work part time at a restaurant and watched the chefs. It kinda rubs off on you when you don't talk and observe well." I told her as we walked outside. I remembered that Hermes needed to be fed. We swing back to the clocktower and then Kay starts to get nauseated. It's like she's new at swinging and eating. I fed Hermes then went to sleep.

"I'm going for a swing, I will be back later." I told Kay as I jumped out the window. "If Junie is gone for a bit I guess I'll just look around." Kay said. She started pawing through my stuff. She found an old trinket of mine, a stuffed wolf. "Why does he have a stuffed animal?" Kay asked herself. I came swinging back in to see Kay looking through my stuff. "What are you doing, why do you have that?" I as I walked over and took the small stuffed wolf from her. "What are you a child?" She antagonized. "Ugh. You would know why I have it if you weren't apathetic." I scoffed at her. "I don't even know what that means!" Kay yelled. "Look it up, it seems you don't care about what I say." I told her as I put on my suit and left.

"I can't believe she went through my stuff. I thought she had more respect than that, and on top of that she completely forgot about Orion." I thought to myself. I came upon a warehouse filled with people. I wondered what is in there so I decided to take a peek. People with guns, the guy who looked to be the leader had a robotic hand. I snuck into the warehouse, and as soon as I made it to a crate someone hit me over the back of the head and I fell unconscious.

I woke up hours later. "Where the hell am I?" I thought to myself. Analysing the situation, I was in one of the wooden crates. I broke out to see nothing but sand for miles. "Argus, where am I?" I asked my suit comms. "Sir, you are in the Sonoran desert. You are approximately 17 miles from the closest village, or town. You should go east." Said Argus. I started walking east towards the village. The blistering heat is too much. I fell to my knees, sweating and in pain. "Argus, initiate cooling systems." I said hastily. "Sir, you only have enough for one hour, with your current pace it will take approximately four and a half hours." Replied Argus. "Do it in doses. Once an hour for 10 minutes." I replied.

I kept walking for what seemed like forever, until I finally saw a small town the desert. I ran over to a small house to see some clothes about my size, so I took them. I hid my suit in a backpack that I had found. "You look lost friend, first time in Tombstone?" Asked an older man. "I woke up in the middle of the desert, I need to get to New York." I told him. I had to lip sync every word though. "You're going to need to go to the Tuscan International Airport to get there. You will also need $111 to get there." The man said. I thanked him and walked away. I walked down the road to find myself offered a ride. "Where you going?" Asked the lady. "Tuscan Airport." I replied. "Take a nap, you look like you need it." She said. I thanked her and hopped into the back. I was fast asleep.

"Thank you for the ride, you take care now." I said as I closed her car door. The next flight was in five minutes. I walked to the terminal that had the plane to New York.

It was a long flight back, but at least I was getting home. We finally land after a few hours, the sky gleaming with the lights of the buildings, the snow an its piercing cold sting. I take a cab to the tower to avoid identification. "Oh my God. Junie, where have you been?" She said frantically. "I need a shower, and a nice cold room." I said with deep strain. I walked to my bathroom and undressed. I turned on the water and felt the warm embrace of the water cover my body. Luckily my skin wasn't peeling or even burned for that matter. "I know you're in here Kay, may I ask why?" I said as the water trickled down my face. "I brought some clothes." She said. She laid them down and walked out. The water was soothing, like a springtime day out with the person you love the most. Everyone else loves someone, I love the shower.

After I explained what had happened to me, I decided to refill my suit's supply. Kay walked up behind me, put her hand on my shoulder and began to speak. "Junie, I'm sorry I forgot about your family." She said sincerely. I turned around and looked deeply into her emerald green eyes. "I get it, you're processing new information." I replied. We stared deeply into each others eyes, not saying anything. "I want to process something else." She said as she kissed me. It was a total shock, but I liked it. The taste of her peach flavored Chapstick was sweet and soft. "Where did that come from?" I asked. "I don't know, it just happened." She explained. "I'm going to go to bed, goodnight" she said as she disappeared down the stairs. I decided to get some sleep myself. The cold, brisk air felt so nice against my skin, I was fast asleep.

"Why didn't you save us Junie, you let us die." Orion's voice echoed. "I'm sorry, I wasn't fast enough, I should have realized." I said while sobbing. "You failed us both, it's your fault." Orion continued. "I'm sorry.. You deserve better, you and mom both." I replied. "ME AND MOMMY DIED WHILE YOU GOT TO LIVE. HOW IS THAT FAIR? IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN YOU.. YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED INSTEAD." His voice yelled. I woke up gasping for air and crying. Kay came running up. "What's wrong, are you okay?" She asked. "Yeah, I had a nightmare." I replied. She tried comforting me but her attempts were futile. "I'm going to go for a swing around the city, you coming or not?" I asked. "No, not this time. It's late and I need my beauty sleep." She yawned. I suited up and left.

I was out for about an hour. I had stopped a petty crimes, nothing big. So I did what every self-respecting teenage super hero would do, stand on a gargoyle at the top of a tall building. The glow of the city lights was blinding almost. "I guess I'll go home and sleep, school starts in about a week." I thought to myself.

I had awaken to what sounded like a monster, I opened my eyes and it was Kay. She, frankly, looked like one as well with her hair like that. "YOU DON'T HAVE PANCAKE MIX? WHO THE FUCK DOESN'T HAVE PANCAKE MIX?" Kay yelled. "Just go to Vince's." I told her. "YOU WANT ME TO GO TO THE DINER LIKE THIS?" She continued. I just rolled over and ignored her. She left the room to, most likely, brush her hair. "Just cut it already." I told her. "NO!" she yelled. I suited up at told Kay I was headed out. The sun was bright, the snow was still falling and crime was out. "Hey, it's Spider-Man!" Yelled a man as I swung by. People started clapping and cheering, so I landed to sign autographs. Enjoy the little things.

I continued to swing throughout the city, until I can upon the docks. There was a lot of people, kinda like the ones at the warehouse. "Get those guns loaded up quickly." Said a tall muscular man. "Is that the guy who got me?" I thought to myself. "Hey Junie, what are we looking at?" Kay said. "How did you even find me?" I said shockingly. Just at that moment, I saw she gad some of her tracking web on my ankle. I decided to let it go. Everyone went into the building. Kay and I crawled in through a vent and onto the ceiling. All of a sudden, a loud bang. The air got colder, everything was calm and still. Like all of time just stopped. Kay fell off the ceiling and started bleeding. "Nice of you to join us Spider-Man, and you brought a girly friend." Said the man with the smoking 44. Revolver. "I am Richard Fisk, son of Wilson Fisk." He continued. He was only a few years older than I. He seemed familiar but I couldn't tell. I took out his guards with ease, then I charged at him.
