*KAYLA POV*

"What's Herobrine?" I asked very confused.

"Really? I'm surprised?! Have you played the Herobrine's mansion adventure map?" He asked.

"Uh... Oh yeah, I played it with Jerome and Mitch a few months ago. What does that have anything to do with this?" This is really confusing me.

"Well, there's a good side and a bad side to every story, but what's the bad side of minecraft?"

My eyes widened in sudden realization. "Herobrine" I said quietly.

"He was created to keep control of the bad, like skeleton and pigmen, and the good was kept by Notch. Yet as any bad guy in a story, Herobrine wanted more power, all the power."

"Then why are we here? If he wanted all the power, why wouldn't he just take out Notch?"

"I have no clue and I'm not sure."

"Well, how do we get out of here then?"

"I don't know. You want to take a look around for a bit?"

"Yeah sure, but we have to be back before sundown" I warned.

"Ok. Let's head out then."

*TIME SKIP TO SUNDOWN*

After what felt like hours of searching, the sun is finally beginning to set. "Jordan, we should head back now. It's getting dark."

"Ok let's go back."

I guess I misjudged how far we went because by the time we were halfway back it was completely dark.

"Set up a temporary base. Quick." I ordered. I then felt a sudden sharp pain in the middle of my back and scream.

Jordan whips his head to me and sprint towards me with his sword. He runs past me and kills the Skelton that is standing standing behind me.

I drop to my knees, overcome by the intense pain. Everything was turning black and all I could mumble was, "So. This is how I end." And everything turns black.
