Once we docked, I packed my bag with my spare clothes, my blankets and my full body cloak before heading up to the main deck again.

My dream... It was strange, I know it was strange, but I couldn't remember it. Weird.

"And where do you think you're going?" Branton stood in my way to getting off the ship.

Jae-Ha must've done what I asked because it was only the two of us on here, Trent too but he was up on the floor above us just peering down.

"I'm going with the princess," I replied, "I must thank you for what you've done for me in the past eleven years, but I think it's time I leave. I'd like to go home for a bit before I do anything first, but to do that I must leave the blood sails."

His flare bore holes in my head and I watched as his hand went to his belt.

"If there's no Princess to go with, you won't leave," he muttered, pulling his sword out and then going to run off the ship.

I knew it.

"I have no choice," I shook my head and allowed my mind to fill with the images of my parents and old crew. Of Keil. Of Yona being threatened. Everything built up a maddening rage inside me that made my insides burn and my blood boil. My blades forced themselves out and grew out largely while my vision flushed red, my breathing took on an unsteady beast like rhythm and I felt my muscles start to ache as my strength and speed started to increase.

"You'll stay away from her!" I shouted unconsciously before my body seemed to gain a mind of its own and shoot forward.

I found myself in between Yona and Branton, blocking his sword from hitting her.

"Leave or die," I growled, my voice was almost unrecognisable to myself.

"I'm not letting you go," Branton retorted.

"So be it. You've chosen death," I growled, "and you shall die."

Another blade came cutting down between us, I looked up to see Iris stood there in her creepily silent pride.

"Stay out of this, Iris," Branton growled.

"Are you sure, captain?" Iris asked, her voice was smooth but threatening.

"You will die by my hands if you interfere, let's just put it that way," he replied, kicking her out of the way. She landed on her feet like nothing happened but frowned.

"Arcane," Yona called out, going to reach me but Jae-ha stopped her.

"Sorry, Yona dear, but this is something that Arcane needs to do," he told her, "go ahead Arcane. We'll get out of your way."

I didn't answer but I did focus on my emotions. They were getting stronger. I wasn't even thinking about anything that angered me anymore, it was just getting worse and worse, my rage kept bubbling up, becoming more and more intense as the seconds passed. I don't know if I'll even stay conscious for this...

I broke away from Branton and swung my hands forward, Branton dodged and the slight screeching of our blades meeting awkwardly filled the air before I proceeded to attack over and over and over. Swinging at every chance I could, not giving the pirate a chance to catch a breath or make his own counter attack.

His eyes were filled with fury but that fury wasn't enough to beat my own.

I purposely left an opening open and he took my bait and went to swing for it, I raised my foot up and slammed it on the top of his sword, forcing it out of his hand and to the floor before approaching him, he was unarmed and backing away from me. The edge of the docking platform was coming into sight and he was cautiously watching his position as we walked.

His eyes narrowed and right as I thought I'd finally gotten him, he pulled out a dagger and threw it at me, I raised a hand and knocked it to the side. Another dagger came flying at me. Again, I knocked it away. More and more, we repeated the same motions until Branton was left patting his coat up and down. Attempting to find anything else he could use. When he didn't he raised his arms up in surrender.

"You can leave," he stated, "but don't ever think about returning ever again."

He said I could leave.

But my body won't stop.

Stop!

Stop body!

Branton's narrowed eyes seemed to narrow more as he reached to his hat and plucked the feather from it before throwing it at me like a dart. Thinking it was just a feather, I didn't bother with it until it continued coming after me and buried itself in the middle of my chest.

What the fuck was that?!

"You may have been a pirate but you don't think like a pirate," Branton shouted before running forward, "die you dragon bastard!"

He grabbed the feather and dragged it up as I thrust both of my hands blades into his torso, flinching away as the feathers blade cut out of my chest, up my chin and through my left eye.

I staggered back and fell to the floor, squeezing my eye shut and throwing a hand over it in agony.

We both let out shots of pain before Branton dropped to his knees.

It was like slow motion, as he fell forward he said 'now you're a pirate' and then smashed face first onto the decks below us, bleeding out faster than people could get to us.

For some reason the scene in front of me flashed an unknown memory across my mind.

"Now, Sho, you are a monster," a blonde haired woman muttered, her torso ripped to shreds by something, she dropped forward and face planted the floor.

Sho?

Who's that?

What's going on?

My eye hurts... My blood... Its burning...

Help me..

Please. Someone help me.

I blacked out, left to the darkness of my own mind.
