Shivaay slept like a baby hugging Annika tight, so tight like he was holding her back from leaving him, while Annika caressed his face with one hand teary eyed and held his injured hand, that was hugging her tight with her other hand. Why did this man behave like a mad teenager when it came to matters related to her.
She remembered the time when they both had met. It had been in the children's orphanage where she grew up. He had come there to make some donations with Dadi. She had seen Dadi many times before but this had been the first time when she had seen Shivaay, a very famous business man about whom she had read in the papers. While she, Annika too had come there for some welfare activity representing the NGO she was working for.
She had been brought up in this orphanage but after completing her studies and obtaining a degree in B.Com, she had left the place and started working in a NGO with the scope of helping orphans despite of the fact that she could've obtained another job with a better payment. She was then living in a rented apartment with Sahil, whom she had unofficially adopted. Since the time Sahil had been left in the orphanage by unknown entities she had brought him up and Sahil had started believing that he was her real brother. Hence when she had decided to leave the orphanage she had taken little Sahil too with her. But she hadn't officially adopted him, because she couldn't do it without a permanent job or a husband.
Her thoughts again drifted back to the days, when Shivaay started coming to the orphanage more often on days when she too had been there. She hadn't spoken to him much just given him few faint smiles with a "hi" or "hello". One fine day this, then unknown man and now the man who knew every hook and nook of her had messaged her requesting her out for coffee which she had outrightly rejected, probably the first and the last time she had rejected the man. She never believed or trusted rich men. She had been brought up instilling the thought that they were spoilt brats. And she had her share of reasonable doubts on why, the great Shivaay singh oberoi the billionaire was asking her out for coffee. But then this man had crossed limits, one day when he stood there at the NGO office she was working in requesting her out for coffee which she couldn't reject. The coffee dates then started becoming regular. It was after a few days that she realised that this man was trying to woo her. He had dropped by her apartment one fine day and told her that he had fallen in love with her, head over heels the day he had seen her in the orphanage playing with the kids and that since then he claimed that, that laughter kept echoing in his ears and that he saw her in his every dream. He told her that he wanted her to be his and only his forever. He also had told that it didn't matter to him who she was or what she was doing. Annika had all along ignored him thinking he was mad, she had paid no heed to him. Thinking of him too as some rich brat who spoiled the lives of poor girls. But little did she know that her heart didn't obey what her brain was telling her and that it was betraying her. He'd message her in the odd hours of the day asking irrelevant and bogus questions. Without her knowledge she had come to a stage where she couldn't stay without seeing him or talking to him, she had got accustomed to him. After a few months he had proposed to her to be his girlfriend, to which she had agreed, although her brain told her that he was playing with her. But later she understood that her brain had cheated her all along and that her heart had been right. They had become inseparable lovers madly and deeply in love with each other. She all along and even now believed that it had been a dream for something that nice to happen to her. And then they both had dated for about three years and were married now for two years. After her marriage with Shivaay she lost her job at the ngo because no one was ready to let the wife of a billionaire work in their firm. But Shivaay never stopped her from working or going for interviews because it was her right and it had made her into the woman he madly loved. After many rejections she decided to start her own firm and started pursuing the dream of her life, fashion designing with the family's support. She felt emotional every time when shivaay took responsibility of her life, a thing which she had never experienced in his life. He had given her a family to call hers. Annika strongly believed up-to date that he was the angel god who god had sent for her. She had literally been living a fairy tale when with him each and every second. Initially Tej and Pinky had objected their eldest heir being married to an orphan but after a lot of coaxing and meeting Annika they had agreed. Dadi, Om and Rudra had been very supportive through out. And she got to know very later on their first night that dadi herself had found annika's mobile number for Shivaay. Later they both together had adopted Sahil, now that she had the ability to take assurance of another life.
Her trail of thoughts were broken when she felt something wet in the crook of her neck. She turned to see and saw her husband sobbing, his face hidden in the crook if her neck.
"Shivaay what happened" She whispered placing soft kisses on his head. She was worried.
"Is your hand paining" she inquired all worried to which he shook his head in a "No" still hiding his face there.
"Then" Annika asked
"It's paining here" he told pointing to his heart. "Sorry for having put you through so much. Sorry for raising my hands at you. I didn't mean any of it Annika. I think I've gone mad. I know I don't deserve you but please don't ever think of even leaving me. I'll die without you. Sorry for being insensitive and sorry for behaving like a chauvinist. Don't think that i don't love you or that you burden me. I've had no world apart from you since the day I first saw you. You complete me. Don't ever leave me" Shivaay begged sobbing. He was pouring out his thoughts.
"Shh baba... I over reacted too. I should've been careful before venting out like a mad woman. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for not listening to you and going on like a mad woman. Where will I go after leaving you Shivaay? Whom do I have besides you? I'm sorry for all that I said" Annika whispered placing soft kisses on his head and wiping away the tears from his face.
"Sorry" he whispered weakly, the antibiotics working on him.
"Shh!! Sleep now"
"Sorryyy. Don't leave me" he mumbled, slowly falling into a slumber.
"Sleep now", she told placing his head properly on the pillow and pecked his forehead with tears in her eyes.
"I love you" Shivaay told with a faint smile.
"I love you too. Sleep now" Annika replied caressing his head. He was her life and she never understood how this greatwall crumbled upfront of her. What had she done to this man, that her mere word made him this vulnerable. She still couldn't believe that someone could love her this madly.

Annika was combing her husband's hair while he naughtily drew patterns with his fingers on her waist, her weak spot which he very well knew. It gave her a tickling sensation.
"Shivaay" Annika reprimanded him but to no use, he continued his naughty game.
Annika was helping him get ready for work. Despite the rest of the family asking him not to go and that he stay at home, he had been stubborn on going to office today because, today was the final meeting with his Japanese clients before they flew back to Japan. Annika didn't oppose his idea of going to work today because she knew how important this deal was to him and how hard he had worked for it. Annika did the final touch-up on his hair.
"Perfect" She exclaimed. Proud of herself. Combing the Shivaay style hair was itself a task.
"Thank you" Shivaay added pinching her waist at her sensitive spot and then pecking her there making her moan while he smiled sheepishly. Her husband was a brute.
"Shivaay" she shouted angrily and then walked towards the broken dressing table with the now missing mirror to get his watch.
"What baby" he asked unaffected getting up from the couch. He looked at himself in his mobile phone camera, his wife had actually done a Good job.
A new dressing table would be brought to the mansion by evening, bade ma had ordered it for them.
"Shivaay" Annika began tying the watch on Shivaay's hand
"Hmm" Shivaay whispered now playing with her hair, he loved messing that wavy mane of hers.
"I've decided to meet Doctor Soumya" She replied with a confident smile. Shivaay was shocked.

"Oops what was coming their way now. I wonder. Poor me. But No you people would only jump at me,this poor soul"
