Names of the past are playing with me

My soul can’t find redemption

Mistakes on the corner are waiting for me

to finally learn my own lesson.

Faces of the past are passing me by

making me shiver from the cold

they are all looking me straight in the eye

humming an out of tune old song

Their facial expressions are altered

i barely recognise them at all

it's strange but i don't feel threatened

standing there all alone

Their pace is getting closer

but i don't flinch at all

my heart is getting warmer

from their unspoken call
