It's been a week since my mom died and I haven't been myself lately. I'm glad that he gets to be with dad and that he's no longer suffering or depressed. I just wish he would have waited till after my birthday.
Apparently, my grandparents are coming to see me now that my mom died as he wished. I don't know my grandparents, I never met them growing up and my mother never mentioned Them.
I'm honestly quite anxious and scared of what's going to happen and how their reaction to me be. When they contacted me they seemed pretty happy that I replied so there's that.
They did mention a surprise present for my birthday to make up for not being able to get me one previously for obvious reasons.
Anyway, I'm now in the car with my two best friends Jethro Pyro Demos and Violeta Alanya Venus, wolf and vampire. Jet is uncle Max's son and Leta is uncle Jack's daughter I have another best friend but he's doing something for his parents so he's going to meet us there.
His name is Leonardo Amos Caraway Grey and he's a fairy, snake, and which hybrid. Auntie Crystal and Uncle Kao's son so when he's done he's either gonna teleport to us or fly.
When we pulled up to the meeting spot I saw my mom's old alpha along with the future alpha who is also my best friend Rebel Archer Karim Greenberg of the Silzia Dynasty wolf pack.
I have another one but she moved years ago and although we all talk and video chat daily, it's not the same as seeing her every day while doing stupid pranks and stuff. Anyway, when we got out of the car we did our handshake with Bel and waited for my other grandparents.
When they arrived they had a cute little wolf pup in their arms which confused me till they said
"This is the present we were talking about, there was a wolf pack living near us and the wolf hunters got to them and killed the guys family, but we managed to save him and his two brothers and his sister"
"Omg, really? Where are the others?"
"Right here" replied my grandpa Zorak
As my grandma Indis set down her open bag of wolf pups and they darted out straight at me jumping and wiggling with excitement. Then grandpa Z set down the other pup and he joined his siblings at my feet.
"So will you take them?" Asked grandpa Z
I turned and looked at my four friends who all had huge smiles silently telling me to take them in. After thinking for a minute i finally said
"Yea, ill take them, they are just too cute to leave"
"Yes, thank goodness, we wouldn't have been able to take care of all of them being on the council and all"
"Its no problem, ill be able to teach them and they'll be like my little babies"
After that, we sat down and talked for hours catching up and reminiscing on old memories and everything. Once all that was over we picked up my four pups and got in the car to head back to my house.
When i got home we set the pups down to let them get a feel for their new home so they won't feel like they are in an unsafe space. Once they started acting like pups again I sat down and played with them before shifting into my wolf.
When I shifted I laid on my stomach and let them sniff me so they can get used to my smell and recognize me as their pack as well as the others. That way I and my friends will be their family and pack.

It's been two years since i got my pups and their personalities are really starting to show more and more the same as their coat colors. For example
Hyde the oldest one is more protective of his brothers and sister and always checking on them even me,
He also is showing more alpha qualities than the others and his coat is more of a black/grey color, Onyx on the other hand really loves to make trouble for you and play but when need be he'll be super serious,
His coat is more of a reddish-brown, Then there is Ace the adventurer, he loves to go with you to different places and take in the experience it gives, he's a real gem with a grey coat, and last but not least there is the baby of the group Jade, she loves hanging with the girls and taking baths while also going out with her brothers to rough house,
Your typical tomboy/ girly girl combo but in a wolf, she is truly one of a kind and she has this mother instinct already forming and her coat is such a pretty brown.
Every day I've either visited my grandparents or they came to see me, we even video chatted a couple of times just to check up on each other and make sure everything is okay.
I'm glad I have my grandparents with me the same with my best friends and my pups because I don't feel as lonely with them since my mom died.
