Chapter 6- The legend?

It's been a couple of months now and we're on our way to do a surprise visit on Devs parents to try and save their relationship. Because of close minds I never really got to bond with my dad while he was alive which made my mom so distraught and sometimes distant till he couldn't live anymore.

I don't want Dev to not have a relationship with his parents over their egos and closed-minded ways. After a while when it's too late they'll regret their decision and they'll never be the same again. Now Dev doesn't know that that's where we're going, he thinks we're going to visit my grandparents.

When we pulled up to his parent's house Dev looked at me with shock and confusion wondering why we're at his parent's house and not my grandparent's house instead. After talking for a minute and calming him down we got out the car and headed to the front door to knock.

After they opened the door I walked right in pulling Dev with me to sit on the couch as I said

"If you don't want to lose your son forever sit down now"

Once they sat down I started i told Dev to sing them his song he made about how it felt with them controlling his life while i just aat and listened

After Dev was done singing I started to tell them my story while looking them dead in the eyes the entire time

"My mom, Sammy Xion Blackburn as I've said before is male he was an omega werewolf from the Silzia Dynasty pack while my father, Johnny Babís Blackburn who was also male was a vampire prince from the Burn clan

Who has been fighting for years because of my dad's great grandfather found his mate in the alphas daughter and her dad wanted to force her into a mating just to gain an alliance with a stronger pack and she chose to run away to her mate instead of mating someone else

Her name was melody, she sadly died at the hands of her father when my great-grandpa was 12 years old, so my dad never got to meet her but my grandpa told my dad that my great-grandpa said

"If she was still here she would tell him about her family and how much she loved them"

The last thing my great-great-grandma said to my great-grandpa was

"Everyone has their own opinion and sometimes they will judge your actions based on what they would do, but see it's not their life it won't affect them. It's your life so live it the way you want, the way that makes you happy."

That saying has been passed down and my parents lived by it and now we live by it too, I think you should to or you'll do something that you'll later regret

Because one person didn't listen and live by this her name was Prin Coldblood, she was an egotistical gold-digging selfish money hungry control seeking power-hungry no brain having idiotic tyrant who had been trying to separate my parents for months

Before she went to the council saying that my father was a traitor and bribed them to stay on her side no matter how much proof there was that he was innocent and in the end two days before I was born my dad was executed and eighteen years later on the day after my birthday my mother died after suffering for years

I never knew my dad and my mom's condition grew worse every day, he couldn't drive, couldn't be by himself for more than a minute all because of closed minds and homophobic ways

When my dad died, murdered for no reason my mom went into a state of absolute sorrow and rage and no one could calm him down and he almost lost me because of it, but my dad knew this would happen because my mom is an omega so he prepared a video that my Aunt Crystal played in order to get through to him

But he still wasn't the same after that and because of them being mates it brought the two species together and I want to change the world as my parents did, and even though it was a sad ending for them their story is a legend amongst all who were involved or told because the made peace for a fight that was a going on for years

And after overthrowing the old council and electing new council members Prin Coldblood was found guilty for being a traitor, kidnapper, murder, and a psychopath, she was then sentenced to three years in prison, four years as a rouge, and death by mate or family of the victim

My mom died before he could kill her for the pain she caused him and my dad, so I was the one who had to do it. When I went down to do it I ended up finding her mate Jago Evellon an omega leopard who she rejected to try and steal my dad

Now he is mates with one of my best friends Rebel Archer Karim Greenberg who is a future alpha and even though Prin was outnumbered she still tried to kill me just because I was the child of my mom who she said ruined her life

And she ended up scratching Jade my wolf child I saved which made her brothers angry so I let them have their fun one by one Hyde went first since he's the oldest, then Onyx, Ace, and lastly Jade after she was healed up

Then I shifted into my wolf with red eyes because I'm a hybrid and killed her. I'm not telling you this to make you think that I'm going to kill you if you don't change your ways, i just want you to know why I'm trying so hard and to understand why I won't give up"

"I'm so sorry"

Devlin said crying because he never knew the whole of what happened only the gist of it. As I hugged him so he could calm down his parents looked at me with tears in their eyes as his mother said

"Dear, you are right... We are being really selfish and arrogant, you lost your parents and we're about to make a mistake and cost our son his parents and not because of death but for selfish reasons"

"We are so sorry that happened to you and from now on we will be better parents ok, will you give us a second chance to make this right?"

"It's up to Dev"

"You mean it?"

"Yes"

"Ok, yeah"

After that we stayed for a couple more hours just talking and catching up before we had to go back home until next time.
