It was a normal day in class when the teacher walked into the room, a huge smile on his face. The class was confused on why he was so excited, but they soon found out, some mixed reactions floating around the room.

"Well class, we have the wondrous opportunity to go on a field trip to an English battleground and visit the home of one of the best archers during the Hundred Years' War."

The class shared mixed reactions, some good and some bad. Some of the class didn't want to go, because they thought they thought it'd be boring, especially since they'd have to camp outside on the battleground, instead of staying in a hotel. Others thought it was worth it, since they were excited to learn who the famous archer was, and they wanted to know more about what had happened in that war, or what happened on the battleground..

The teacher had failed to mention one thing, as it wasn't brought up to him either.

Many people had gone missing and had been found dead when they visited those places.

The class was given permission slips, and about a month after, more than half the class was on their way to the home of John Rynger, the best archer in the Hundred Years' War.

"Well class, here we are. This is the home of John Rynger. He was one of the best archers during the Hundred Years' War. He lived in this home with his faithful wife Cecily for almost four years before going off to war. He was killed though, when he was twenty-six years old, when someone on his side of the battle had shot him in the skull. Cecily never had the chance to marry again or have children, because shortly after the Battle of Crécy, she was killed at twenty-two years old."

While the teacher was speaking, a girl in the class noticed something that made a chill rumble down her spine.

Cecily's grave looked like it had been tampered with.

It didn't look fresh though, quite opposite.

It looked like it had been messed with years before.

"Mr. Lynch? What's wrong with Cecily's grave? It looks like someone messed with it."

Mr. Lynch looked at what the student had observed with a confused though curious expression.

"I suppose you're right. Perhaps someone had taken her body, or, her skeleton, and given it to science. It wasn't as uncommon as thought."

The way their teacher talked about this so calmly scared some students. But they shook it off, because, he was probably right.

So they got to the battlefield, and the entire day was spent as a tour. On said battlefield, there was a memorial for John, and even farther down, there was a thick forest, trees so close together that you can't even see past the first line.

They set up camp on the battlefield, and a few hours after, a student went missing.

"Hey, where's Matt?"

The girl who noticed the problem with Cecily's grave was the first to notice. Once she brought it up, it caused others to question his disappearance too.

"Do you think he went with Aimee?"

"I'm right here! I don't know where he is."
