part 21: surprise

"You're going to surprise him? Really? You're so sweet, Y/N. How are you gonna do it?" Chan said.

"Well, I'm flying to LA, I'm coming to the concert as well." I said, smiling proudly.

"No way! That's amazing! You really do love him, don't you?"

"Yes, I love him so much. I will do whatever it takes to make things right." I said.

"That's cute. I will make sure you don't pay anything. You're a VIP already, so don't worry." Chan said giggling through the phone.

"Aww, thanks Chan! You're the best. This is my first Stray Kids concert in America and I'm already a VIP, wow."

"It's the least I can do. You deserve so much more for taking care of our Hyunjin and making him the happiest person in the world." Chan said.

"I really appreciate it. Thank you always, Chan."

"Yeah, no problem. Call me when you arrive, I'll tell our manager to give you a room in our hotel so you can stay close to us." Chan said.

"You're so sweet, thank you. That would be awesome. Make sure Hyunjin doesn't see me. I'll surprise him after the concert." I said, giggling.

"Alright. Don't worry, I got you. We will talk Y/N, have a good night."

"You too. Thank you once again." I said and hung up.

I woke up early cause I had to catch my flight. I got ready, did my hair and makeup. I packed last night.

I called my sister, my parents and Jaemin to let them know I'm going to America for a few days. Emma was so excited for me and Hyunjin getting back together. My parents also. They loved him.

It is hard to earn my dad's trust cause he's protective over me, which is normal, but since he knew Hyunjin since he was little, dad was more comfortable with him. He's already asking me when's the marriage going to be. I'm so happy that they're supporting our relationship.

I got to the airport and waited for my flight to be called. I heard flight for LA and immediately got up. I sat on the seat next to window. I listened to music so the time will pass faster.

I landed after 11h and 40 minutes. Chan sent me an address for their hotel. I called taxi.

Chan: Hyunjin is my roommate by the way. Just to let you know. I will tell you what's happening with him.

Me: alright. That's perfect :)

Chan POV

"Hyunjin, we're going to rehearse later. Are you ready?" I asked.

"Yes, I'm ready. I'm a little nervous after all these things that are happening." Hyunjin said sitting on the bed next to me. I could see sadness in his eyes. He misses her a lot. It's gonna be hard to keep Y/N's secret about surprise.

"That's normal. Is it because of Y/N? You miss her, don't you mate?" I asked and put my hand on his shoulder, squeezing it.

"I do. I didn't even say proper goodbye to her. I just left cause I was angry. But I rushed things and expected her to answer me at that moment. I'm an idiot. I should call her and say sorry." Hyunjin said, searching for his phone.

"Yeah, call her, if you're gonna be better." I said, secretly smiling.

Y/N POV

I was driving in taxi when I saw Hyunjin calling me.
"Shit, I need to act now." I thought and answered the call.

"Hello." I said.
