splash.
Jungkook stares at his phone.
Apparently, his no-good-of-a-cousin Min Yoongi texted him, asking for help.
'How dare he ask me for help?'
And yet, 'What do you want?' he texted him back.
Although engaging in a conversation with Yoongi usually tires him off, right now it's the most suitable thing to do than to hang around with the sophisticated woman in front of him.
'Jimin wants to marry me!' Yoongi texted again.
Jungkook tilts his head.
'Who is this 'Jimin' we're talking about?' The taller man asked while taking a sip of the sparkling water offered as complementary by the waiter earlier, quietly observing it, it kinda looks pretty interesting.
Sometimes, he wonders, if he did not became a surgeon, what job could he possibly work for?
How about a scientist? Since he often gets the urge to find scientific explanations about how some things became something.
'Jimin! My boyfriend! He suddenly wants to marry me!'
'Then marry him.'
'Fucker, if that's what I want, I wouldn't have waste my time texting you now!'
Jungkook did not reply and just chuckles, earning the attention of the girl in front of him.
"What is it, Mr. Jeon?"
"Oh, nothing." he shrugged it off, just then, another beep came from his phone.
It was a photo of Yoongi crouching on what seems to be a comfort room, while sitting on a cubicle.
'I am at Wonderland Hotel, room 410, please help me, Kook! Get me out of here!'
'What do I get in return?'
'Anything! Anything, just get me out here!'
'Nah. I want a specific trade for my wonderful acting later.' Jungkook couldn't hide his smirk hearing his cousin's frantic behavior.
'Aish! Okay, what do you want?!'
'Hmm... what do I want?'
'I'm going to provide breakfast for you for one whole year!'
'Hah! Do you think that's enough? What about my lunch, dinner, fète?'
'You jerk! You're literally a surgeon! You make a good sum of money than I do! Don't make me broke than I already am!'
Jungkook lets out a chuckle. 'Unfortunately, that is not enough to tempt me. Sorry, not sorry.' He was about to turn off his phone, but Yoongi is persistent as another text came up.
'WAIT!'
'Ah, hyung, you're ruining my date.'
'Bullshit. I know you don't enjoy every second you are there.' Well said, Yoongi.
There is a following text soon after, Yoongi suggesting another offer.
'How about I tell Aunt Jeon to stop setting you up for random dates?' Yoongi suggested.
Jungkook got himself thinking.
Exactly.
That's exactly what he wants.
But he doubts Yoongi can do it.
His cousin is too much of a coward to not even face his own problem right now, what more his mom? A beast in disguise of a human.
'Nah. I don't think you can.'
'I can! I promise!'
'Hm...'
'I swear! She'll finally put a stop on her bossy behavior.'
Jungkook thinks to himself. If Yoongi were to accomplish that, it would be fucking great.
'Okay, deal. Let me just finish my final act here, then I'll go and come fetch you there.'
'YES! YES! Thank you, my lovely cousi—' he didn't even bother finishing reading Yoongi's text as he finally puts it down on the table, with a hard thud.
"Are you done with your personal business? Can we proceed with getting to know each other now?" The girl in front of him spoke, sarcasm was laced in her voice.
"Chill, Ms.— what's your name again? Sorry, I forgot." He sheepishly grins.
"Wow, I heard that the youngest Jeon has a bad attitude, but I didn't knew it was this shitty."
"I'm sorry, my memory tends to forget unimportant things to me." He still got the nerve to explain.
The girl took a hold of the water in front of her, and the tall man knew that's his cue.
*splash*
Water drip down from Jungkook's handsome face like a waterfall as the girl splash it on him.
"Jerk! I hope I never meet you again!" The girl stood up and ran outside the restaurant, huffing.
"DON'T WORRY, WE WON'T!" he shouted back.
Thankfully, the place is not too crowded, only few saw such embarrassing thing happened to him tonight.
'Ugh! I just bought this suit recently!' he complains, looking at his new crimson red suit which is now wet.
"Uhm sir, would you like to take out your food? I-I can pack it on the go." The waiter earlier took a drastic measure to approach him, kind of afraid to even ask.
Ah, he forgot. That girl ordered food, and now he had to pay for it.
Bitch.
"Let me pay for that. You can keep the food, share it with your colleagues." Jungkook, although with a shitty behavior, is kind to few.
After paying, he finally left the place, rushing off to the hotel his cousin is currently stucked up.
