*سفرِ عشق میں ہم بھٹکے ہوئے لوگ*

Safr-e-ishq mein hum bhatkey hue log.

Inara:

Even love couldn't cushion a fall like ours. My love for Him was so big that I felt consumed by it, and even so, it was not enough to overpower our destructive fate.

I struggled. I yelled and screamed. I scratched and kicked.

I fought like hell, but even the most determined fighters have to stop before they break.

No one could say I didn't fight for him. I'd gone through hell with this man, for this man.

I went down with the ship.

My soul, burnt embers in the aftermath.

The fire of him ravaged it all.

He burned me.

He broke me.

Nashwa:

It was the kind of relationship where I invested more than I had to spare.

I gave it everything.

And so when it failed, I lost myself.

It changed me.

He changed me.

Picking up the pieces of your life after a tragedy is a daunting prospect, and that's considering you still own all of the pieces. But what if you don't? What if someone else owns those pieces, and those pieces are a part of your soul?

You dig deep and work with what you've got.

That's what Nashwa told herself and believed every single day.

He hit rock bottom, and no one felt the impact harder than Nashwa. She was forced to see, in the most brutal of ways, that love does not conquer all. Bruised, bloody, and broken she had to walk away.

Mustafa:

It all happened because of our ill fate. The fire burning inside me made me angrier, more cynical, and it undoubtedly turned me into the beast I was today. The bubbling boil of vengeance that heats my blood would never simmer. The pain was all I could give her. I wasn't sure if I was strong enough to let her in... or push her away.

But living in the shadow of someone else was the worst kind of fate. And for my own sanity, I put an end to it.

She was the One.

She has absolutely no idea what she does to me.... She's my medicine, my cure, my everything. If only hearts could heal that way – through someone else's beating.

She's the only person who could see the real me.

Our love had the power of a runaway freight train, and the potential to be just as destructive.

This was the kind of love that only hit you once in your life.

Aaban:

We were cursed from the start. She didn't know it but I did.

All she knew was that I'd lied to her, betrayed her, abandoned her. Done unforgivable things. Unavoidable things. Yes, I had broken promises as surely as I had broken her heart. But, just as every war has casualties, and every lie has consequences–every bastard has his reasons.

One devastating night, and it shook Aaban to his very core.

Now he's left to sort through the mess he's created.

Will he be able to rise above it all and make amends with those he needs the most?

Or will the damage be irreversible and leave him longing for what could have been?

Sneak peek:

"I love you," I spoke softly into his ear.

He gripped me harder. "I can't ever lose you, moosham. I'm not sure I'd survive it."

"You've got me. And I'm not going anywhere. Not ever."

I meant the words when I said them, but life had other plans for us.

I'd have given my life for that fight. In fact, I very nearly did.

After everything that's happened, the rise and the fall, the pain and the aftermath, can they navigate the waters of acute regret, survive the trials of coming face to face with all that they have lost, and find the strength to try again?
