-...Vanguard!

It was a usual day at Card Capital. Kamui, Morikawa, Izaki, Reiji, Eiji, Naoki and Misaki were sitting around Kai and Aichi who had started playing Vanguard. The two boys were already fired up and their heat appealed to the others. Everybody was watching while commenting the fight, of course Kamui having a fight with Morikawa again. At the same time, Shin was putting a poster with a Vanguard tournament, which had taken place few days ago, and team Q4 had lost from the team Foo Fighter AL4, Suzugamori Ren's team. It was something nobody wanted to remember

Kamui:Shin-senpai, why do you put this poster? It was a bad luck for us!

Shin: But Kamui-san, you got the second position! It is still a great achievement!

Kamui: No its not! We lost from this Tetsu guy!!!

Morikawa: You mean YOU lost from Tetsu! You gave three fights! In the first Aichi beat Ren, in the second Tetsu beat you, and in the third Asaka beat Misaki!

Misaki just didnt want to remember... when they saw that Aichi had won and Kamui had lost, everybody wanted Kai to go give the last fight, so that Q4 would surely win the tournament.... but Kamui started fighting with Kai and he didnt want him to give the last fight, so he chose Misaki... Nobody could change Kamui's mind, and Kai didnt have problem. "Make us proud. Your abilities are beyond the limits" is what Kai said to Misaki before she goes to fight.... and then, Misaki lost from her eternal opponent, Narumi Asaka, the assasin of AL4. She just couldnt beat the blue haired girl's power, not even after Kai Toshiki's encouragement. She felt so bad about it, and she saw Kai's dissapointment in his eyes...

Kamui: Whatever! I still dont want to remember it!

Misaki could feel everybody's eyes on her, except Kai's... she had caused the results... not Kamui

Misaki: I'm sorry for this...

Misaki got up from the chair and went upstairs to her room. She felt guilty for everything.

Aichi: Misaki-san....

Naoki: Boss Lady doesnt feel well, does she?

Aichi: She might think she is the reason we lost

Morikawa: We all know the reason you lost!

Morikawa points at Kamui

Kamui: Th..this doesnt have to do with me!

Morikawa and Kamui started fighting with each other while the others were trying to stop them. Then Aichi looked at Kai who was silent all this time

Aichi: Kai-kun, can you do me a favour?

Kai didnt say anything, just looked Aichi unexpressed, making it clear he wanted to hear Aichi's will

Aichi: Can you talk to Misaki-san? I mean, you dont talk a lot but when you do, your words are very encouraging. She will might fell better!

Kai sighs

Kai: I already encouraged her before the fight. Doing it now is meaningless

Aichi: Dont be this mean Kai-kun!

Then, the door of Card Capital opens, hitting Shin on the head as he faints. It was Miwa, who was holding a box and was smiling too much

Miwa: Yoshhh! Good Morning Vanguard people!!

Aichi: B..but Miwa-kun, it is afternoon!

Miwa: I just woke up, so its morning!

Izaki: Why so happy today, Miwa?

Morikawa: Did you finally find a girlfriend??

Miwa stares at Morikawa

Miwa: Stop talking like YOU have a girlfriend!

Morikawa: Of course i have! What do you think i am for Kourin-san??!!

Kamui: Trouble

Morikawa: Dont talk you rat!! You will never find a girlfriend!

Kamui: Emi-san is already my future wife! And Nagisa is in love with me!

Aichi: Anyways... M..Miwa-kun, why are so happy?

Miwa: Because....

Miwa put his box on the table and opens it. It was full of small yellow cards. Everybody looked in it

Naoki: What is that supposted to be?

Miwa: What day is it tomorrow???!!!

Naoki: The day we give yellow cards to everyone?

Kamui: April's Foolsday?

Kai: Your birthday

Miwa clapped his hands

Miwa: To be exact, tomorrow is April's Foolsday AND my birthday! These cards are the invitations!

Naoki: Aaaw now it makes sense!

Morikawa: I dont understand the reason you had to be born on that day... its like your birthday is a trick

Miwa sighs, but nothing could make him lose his happiness. He gives a yellow card to everyone.

Miwa: Everybody come tomorrow afternoon at this club!

Izaki: Why do you want to make a party so much?

Miwa: Well... i hadnt really thrown lots of birthday parties when i was little, but its never too late! By the way, where is Misaki??

Aichi: She is upstairs

Miwa: Hm..

He gives one more yellow card to Aichi

Miwa: Go give it to her! I really want her to be at my party!

Aichi was about to say yes, when Kai got up from his chair. He takes the invitation from Aichi's hand, and he walks upstairs without saying anything. Miwa stays still looking at Kai's place weird

Miwa: What the hell happened to him?

Aichi: Dont worry, its not something serious... just a case he has to take care of.
