Untitled Part 11

Misaki and Asaka were walking silently at the shops. They both hated being with each other, but they wanted to finish something they had started.

Asaka: Where are we going first? What i want to buy is shoes and a jacket.

Misaki: I dont know what to buy...

Asaka: Just dont forget that it is for Taishi, and not for your boyfreind.

Misaki: Boyfriend??!!

Asaka: Kai Toshiki

Misaki felt ready to pass out

Misaki: He is not my boyfriend!

Asaka: Really? Because you were together yesterday, he was holding you, he is the reason you agreed go shopping with me and this morning i heard Ren-sama talking with him on the phone, and it looks that he called you "Misaki" instead of "Tokura"...

Misaki didnt know what to say. Everything was an accident, except the last one which she couldnt explain.

Misaki: He is not my boyfriend... it was my uncle who made him help me buy present for Miwa, nothing else... there is no way we would ever be couple. He is not interested in girls in that way, i thought you already knew that.

Asaka: Well, he is a boy, there is no way he will stay in this way forever! Wait... you mean that HE is not interested...does that mean that you are?

Misaki looked at Asaka surprised. She hadnt realised she had talked in a way to mean this thing, but she didnt know the real answer herself.

Misaki: No! I... i... i dont know if i am interested, ok?

Asaka stayed silent for a while and then she smiled.

Asaka: I didnt know you were that kind of person...

Misaki: What do you mean?

Asaka: I had ever imagined you would be interested in a boy this early. I excepted it would happen when you become 20 or more...

Misaki: I said i dont know if i am interested!

Asaka: Yeah yeah i always say the same for Ren-sama but the truth is that i... cant stay away from him. Of course Tetsu is the only one who knows it...

Misaki: You still have no progress with Ren?

Asaka: How could i? He is not interested in girls either, but if he was, he would totally like Suiko, the Ultra Rare girl...

Misaki could understand what was Asaka saying. She was always getting nervous watching all of Kai's fangirls around him. Then she felt weird of how close she had become with Asaka.

Asaka: The point is, no matter how sweet he acts towards me, he will never accept me as a girl which will make him happy...

Misaki: Dont give up hope... i am sure you will make it one day soon. There is no way to be this close to Ren for so long and not make it! And some minutes ago he told you to call him if anything happens. Isnt this something?

Asaka: No, it was just an accident that happened yesterday... hey, what is going on there?

The girls stopped walking and looked at the way Asaka was pointing at. Outside a caraoke shop, there were lots of people around, watching and trying to enter the shop. Asaka could read a poster outside of it

Asaka: "Best Song Competition! The winner gets a new Plasma TV!"...

Misaki opened her eyes widely

Misaki: TV? Its the perfect present for Miwa!

Asaka: What are you talking about?!

Misaki: I will go sing and win the stupid TV for Kai to give it to Miwa!

Asaka: ... i will help, in one condition...

Misaki: What is it?

Asaka: Admit that you are interested in Kai.

Misaki blushed, but she knew she would need Asaka's help... anyways, she didnt know if it was totally true or not

Misaki: Fine! I ... am interested in Kai..

Asaka: See? Do you feel better now?

Misaki: I will feel better the moment i win the TV! Come on!

They both entered the shop. It was full of people, but when they said they were about to sing, everybody let them pass. They took numbers and waited their turn to tell a song.

It had passed half an hour, and Kai was still lying on his bed. He still had no idea what to buy. His phone rung and he picked it tired.

Kai: Yes?

Ren: Kai! Its me, Ren!

Kai: If you want to shout again because of what happened in that shop with the headphones...

Ren: No! Can you come here please?

Kai: "Here" ?

Ren: At my school! I need you for something!

Kai sighs. He didnt have anything better to do anyway, so he accepted. He left his house and headed to Ren's school. While he was walking, he passed next to a karaoke shop. He looked in there by mistake, and he stopped walking, feeling his body freezed. He didnt know what to say· inside the karaoke shop there were two familiar girls singing, Narumi Asaka and Tokura Misaki. His stare was on Misaki, he couldnt stop watching her beautiful moves and passion while singing. He didnt know the reason she was there, but whichever it was, it made him feel like he wanted to stay looking at her forever.

Kai: What the hell...

After three minutes the song stopped, and he lost the girls from his sight. They hadnt noticed him. A passerby pushed him and continued his way running, trying to forget how beautiful she was.
