Untitled Part 4

It was afernoon. Misaki woke up from a deep sleep she took after Kai Toshiki had left her room. She stood up and went down to the shop. She was surprised when she saw that none of her friends was there, except Kai, who was cardfighting with one kid Misaki didnt know. When the fight was over, with of course the win of Kai, Misaki approached him slowly.

Misaki: eh... Kai?

Kai turned around and saw Misaki standing next to him. He was nervous watching her this close to him.

Kai: Whats wrong, Tokura?

Misaki: Why are you alone? I mean... where is Aichi and the others?

Kai sighs

Kai: They decided to go buy presents for Miwa together this afternoon, and Miwa probably prepares the party. I just didnt want to go with them.

Misaki was angry because the guys didnt tell her about the afternoon. She didnt have any idea what to buy either, and she needed help.

Misaki: Have you got anything to suggest me buying for Miwa? You are his closest friend, you must have ideas.

Kai: Well....

Then Shin came next to them with his usual smile.

Shin: Why dont you two just go outside together to buy presents for Miwa-kun? Kai-kun wanted to go alone, but going with Misaki is the same, kinda. She doesnt speak a lot.

Misaki: Shin!!

Kai didnt know what to say. He was usually doing what adults were saying, but he was not sure if he had to consider Shin as "adult". He looked at Misaki's blushing face, then he felt pity for her... she didnt know Miwa that well to find a good present for him.

Kai: Fine. Lets go, Tokura

Misaki: Wh... what?

Kai: You want to buy a present for Miwa, right? I will help you

Kai started walking to the exit. Misaki was standing looking at him shocked, when Shin gave her money and pushed her to go with Kai. Misaki looked at Shin

Misaki: You act weird, uncle...

Shin: YOU act weird... you think i havent noticed how you look at Toshiki-kun?

Misaki put her hand on Shin's mouth, making sure Kai was far enought not to hear anything. He was standing at the Card Capital's exit

Kai: Hurry, Tokura

Misaki: Y...yeah!

Misaki let Shin go, and walked to Kai's place. Inside her, she was thanking Shin for what he recommended.

Misaki and Kai were walking to the shops, looking at different kinds of things. Misaki couldnt help but giving Kai secretly glances... Kai was just walking unexpressed. He was still feeling nervous. Girls were usually afraid of being that close to him, so himself was not used be this close to a girl either. Misaki was indeed a special girl, he has gone through a lot with her, and she was an amazing cardfighter. She was the only girl that Kai approved as "serious". He looked at her by chance, but she saw him.

Misaki: Is anything wrong?

Kai: No... no...

Kai felt stupid. He suddenly was not acting like himself. He had whispered something to himself when he was at Misaki's room this afternoon: -she is beautiful- ,he thought.... then he was sure something was wrong with him. Kai was never thinking things like that... The only thing he had admitted once that is beautiful, was Draconic Overlord, and nothing else. He shook his head to throw away his thought.

Misaki: So... what do you think i should buy for Miwa?

Kai came back to reality

Kai: Well, he would like lots of thing like watches, phones, clothes etc. Chose something.

Misaki looked at the sky while she was thinkng of Miwa.

Misaki: Does Miwa listen to music a lot?

Kai: yes, he loves music

Misaki: So what about headphones?

Kai: uh... sure, i think he will like it

Misaki and Kai entered a shop which was selling different kinds of electronic things, such as phones, headphones, TVs etc. They approached the place where there were all the kinds of headphones

Misaki: what colour is his favourite?

Kai: He loves all the colours

This didnt help a lot. She was looking at the headphones, while Kai was looking at her, without her notice. Then, the shop's manager approached them with a huge smile.

Manager: What would this cute couple want to buy?

Both Misaki and Kai blushed when they heard "couple"

Misaki: we... we are not couple! I would like to buy headphones for a friend..

Manager: Oh really? Is your friend boy or girl?

Misaki: Boy

The manager looked at Kai

Manager: A boy? Are you jealous kid? Because i still think you look like a couple...

Kai grabbed Misaki's hand and made her leave this shop. He was walking fast, making it difficult for Misaki to reach him. He was all upset.

Misaki: Kai!!! What are you doing?!

Kai: Headphones were a bad idea! Lets find something else!

Misaki knew Kai was disturbed by the "couple" comments. She just nodded her head.

At the same time, the shop's manager was screaming at Kai and Misaki

Manager: COME BACK GUYS , I WAS JUST KIDDING!!!

It was too late. Kai had lost his cool.
