Hey, y'all it's Westley! Thanks for checking out the story, this chapter will be in Ebony's POV. Enjoy!
Ebony's POV
This meeting was so boring. I mean why were we even listening to this guy? All he was doing was blabbering on about wolf code and shit. Not like anyone cared or anything. I know as "Supreme Leader and Alpha King" I am supposed to care about these things, but honestly this just seemed pointless. Everyone in the meeting room already knew all about this, but every month we needed to go over it again just in case of the ever so rare event that someone forgot one of the rules drilled into our head every month.I guess this is why people find me scary. They confuse my boredom with anger. What can I say, I have a resting bitch face. I just look at someone and they immediately think I hate them. I mean sure I don't like most people, but they get on my nerves. They come to me with their petty arguments and issues and want me to fix them. I honestly don't give a shit! Anyway, now it's time for the interesting part of the meeting. Now we get to discuss raids attacks.
"Supreme Leader and Alpha King Ebony," one of my military leaders say. God, I hate it when people call me that. "It has come to my attention that once again Alpha Blackwood has refused our annual visit." This comes as no surprise to me, the idiot has refused our required visits every year since before my father was king. This will be the 51st year he has refused.
"We should raid once again," I say in my leadership alpha voice. "We have reason to believe that he has been taking part in illegal activity due to previous raids. He knows the consequences of refusing a visit and we need to further investigate these illegal actions."
"Very well Alpha, we will find a date soon to raid his packhouse."
And with that, we are back to boring discussions about things that don't matter.
~time skip to before the raid~
I sharpen my knives and load my gun while sitting in the van on the way to Alpha Blackwood's packhouse. I know fully well that none of the weapons we have brought will be of any use once we arrive there. The moment we set foot on their property we will all just shift into our wolves, leaving our weapons behind us.
The drive is a long and twisty one through a forest. The van we are driving in bumps on the stones and pebbles on the uneven road. When we finally arrive I quickly go over our plan to infiltrate the packhouse.
"Alright!" I say as everyone huddled together. "Jacks, you are on lookout. Make sure no one gets out once we are in. Beckett, you are on the right-wing, scout the halls and kill any warriors in sight. Vivian, you have the left-wing. When both of you are done come back to the main hall where we will regroup. Finally, Axel, you are with me. Once we have taken care of the warriors we will search the house for Alpha Blackwood."
When we are all familiar with our plans, we split up and prepare for battle. I shift into my giant black wolf and give a menacing growl. We all storm in and everything goes to chaos.
Everyone in the packhouse is running around screaming. Alarms are blaring for everyone to get to the safe house. Warriors are running towards us and shifting into their wolf forms. One wolf runs towards me and tries to pounce at my neck but I kick him off. I quickly bite into his back leg and tear it open. Meanwhile, Axel is holding off three wolves at one time. I take one last glance at him before I quickly dodge another two wolves running towards me.
This is what I live for, the adrenaline rush of the fight. The thrill of it all. Letting my wolf be completely free. But something is wrong today, I just can't figure it out. My wolf is sensing panic, but it's not from anyone in my pack. Then who? I don't understand.
When all of the pack's warriors are dead Axel quickly runs off looking for Alpha Blackwood. I am just about to follow him when the most amazing smell fills my nose. It's just like old wood, and forests, and grassy fields all in one scent. I just have to find out what it is.
I follow the scent into the common area where I find the source of the scent. Standing in the middle of the room is a small quivering boy. "Mate!" shouts my wolf, but it only comes out as a low growl. He spins around, surprised by the sound, and I am shocked to see how beautiful this small boy is.
His hair is honey blond and his eyes are sapphire blue. His body, while small, is perfect for cuddling caressing. Meanwhile, his inner wolf is oozing omega pheromones and begging to dominated.
I am so dazed by the attractive male and his marvelous scent that it takes me a minute to realize that he has bolted away from me. I quickly send a message to my warriors through our pack link. "Ignore the Alpha Blackwood," I say. "I just found my mate and he has escaped from my grasp. I want everyone to be on the lookout for a small young man with blond hair, blue eyes, who looks incredibly adorable."
Oh my god, I love writing as Ebony. It is so much fun! I promise to add more Crescent/Ebony fluff next chapter. I think I am going to try to update every Friday, but I'll see if I can't add more often.
