Hey Guys, it's Westley! This is my first story on Wattpad and I hope you enjoy it. I know that my grammar isn't always the best and I would love constructive criticism to make it better. When I ask for criticism, I mean things that I can work on and change not rudeness so please don't leave mean comments. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it!

It was a cold winter night and the wind rattled at the windows. I felt bad for the people who got stuck with guard duty tonight. Thank god I never had to do that. Instead, I was inside with a warm and cozy fire keeping me warm, knitting myself a new sweater in my favorite color. Next to me, I had a cup of warm hot chocolate and a tray of gingerbread cookies incase I got hungry. Around the room, there were piles of unread books ready for me to enjoy and pillows and blankets for when I got tired.

To most people, it seemed like I had it good. Never having to work a day in my life, a constant supply of sweets and snacks, plenty of time to just sit back and enjoy a good book. A life that could only be described as comfy. But no, I could unfortunately never truly enjoy this lifestyle. For I was trapped, locked in a world of rainbows and sunshine.

You might think that I am being overdramatic. It can't really be that bad right? Oh, no. I have been living like this for 4 years. Since the age of 14. At that age, wolves are expected to shift for the first time and people find out where they stand in the hierarchy of wolves. When I first shifted I did not become an Alpha or Bets, oh no. I was "blessed" with being one of rarest wolves of all, a male omega. The moment I first shifted I knew that my life would never be the same again.

(Flashback)

All I could feel was the pain as my body twisted to fit into its new wolf form. I closed my eyes and gritted my teeth trying to stay calm and let my inner wolf take over. After what seemed like hours the pain finally stopped. I heard gasps come from my family as I slowly opened my eyes. Beneath me, where my hands were supposed to be were snowy white paws. I ran into my room to look in my mirror but when I finally got a look at my reflection I stopped dead in my tracks. Instead of seeing some proud strong-looking wolf with pitch-black fur and yellow eyes, I saw a creature that so tiny that it looked like a dog more than it looked like a wolf. But what really got to me wasn't my height or build, but my fur. It was entirely white, with not a single patch of brown or black to be seen in my body. Something that was only seen on the rare omegas.

(Flash back ends)

Under 1% of all wolves are male omegas, making them by far the rarest type of wolf out there. Coveted by packs all over the world. When my Alpha found out that I was a male omega, he stole me away from my friends and family with the excuse of "needing to keep me safe."

I remember the day vividly, it was the day after I had first shifted and I was hidden in my room watching Netflix on my computer. I remembered there was a knock on the door of my house and hearing my mom open the door and gasp in shock. "Why Alpha Blackwood," she said, "I didn't know you would be stopping by at our house."

"Oh, well ma'am," he said, "it is my duty as Alpha to stop by and visit all wolves after their first turn." This is when I started to smell bullshit. Alpha Blackwood had never visited our house before, even when my older brothers and sister shifted for the first time. Even my wolf, Scarlet started whimpering as she heard his voice downstairs. My mom, of course, completely oblivious to the obvious threat just said "oh! Crescent is right upstairs!"

I remember flinching as he knocked on my bedroom door. Everything just seemed so wrong. I knew that nothing good was going to come from this. I stared at my door nob watching it twist as the door opened. "So you're an omega Crescent," he said, staring at me like I was a piece of meat he could buy at a butcher shop. "I've always wanted to have a pet omega."

"You can't have me," I managed to squeak out, slowly backing myself away from the terrifying alpha in front of me. "That would be kidnapping."

"Oh no, sweetheart. It's not kidnapping if I'm your mate."

"But you're not my mate! Your mate died last year in a-" Slap

"YOU WILL NOT SPEAK OF HER!" He shouted at me. I flinched clutching my face as it burned from when he hit it.

"Now listen very carefully, you have now seen my power and what I can do so you are going to listen to me. We are going to go downstairs and you are going to tell your family that you found your mate."

I nodded frantically scared of what would happen if I disobeyed. "You are going to make it seem like you are genuinely in love with me and you are going to make it believable enough that no one will question anything. Ok?"

"Yes, Alpha."

"Now if you even think about telling anyone about what is happening, I can and will hurt everyone in your family, including you. Do you understand?"

"Yes Alpha," I said, choking back a sob in my throat.

"Ok now let's go downstairs."

He grabbed my wrist and pulled me into his chest tightly slowly guiding me down the stairs. "Hey guys, I have an announcement to make," I said quietly. "I want you all to meet my mate, Alpha Blackwood." At that point, I just went numb. What had I gotten myself into? Was I ever going to escape? Would he hurt my family? In the background, I heard my parents congratulating me and Alpha Blackwood on finding our mates. I saw him smile and pull me into his chest, as though he was hiding me from the world. I thought that this would be the worst moment of my life. Having to sign myself away to my Alpha and knowing that I would probably never see my parents or friends again. Little did I know, that my life was about to get much worse.
