Sorry I haven't updated in awhile and that this took so long. I was going to write a Christmas/Holiday fic, but I couldn't make myself write anything in time so sorry for that too. Yeah, hoping that I will feel more like writing soon and also writing this from a new computer (it has a different kind of keyboard) so sorry if there was some mistakes.

---3rd Person POV---
Preston and Lachlan had ordered takeout and just finished eating everything. Well except the fortune cookies. They agree on opening them at the same time so they do a little countdown and crack the small cookies open.
"Beware of coffee shops" Lachlan reads his fortune out loud fumbling a bit with his words to correct the misspelled words the paper itself had and then eating the biscuit. Preston read his own quietly, the words messing with his head. He looks up from the paper and sees Lachlan staring at him excitedly.
"Well, what did it say?" Lachlan asks wanting to know what his friend got.
"Just some stupid love fortune" Preston answers not bothering to read it out loud.
"C'mon read it for me mate" Lachlan persists his curious nature not letting him give up.
"Can't you just read it then?" Preston questions and the Australian shakes his head smiling cheekily. Preston groans loudly letting him know how troublesome he was being.
"The next person who you look in the eyes is your true love" Preston reads the fortune out loud for the other to hear. "See? It was totally stupid" He then says trying to enforce his previous words.
"Nah man, don't go hating on the fortune. It was great and I would rate it 8/8 mate" Lachlan replies denying Preston's statement.
"How so? You were the next person I looked in the eyes to" Preston says wanting to know Lachlan's reasoning.
"Exactly! Know you are stuck with me, but don't worry I'll take good care of you" Lachlan says smiling widely. Preston is at the loss of words because of Lachlan so he just sits there staring at him for a moment trying to gather himself.
"Shut your pecker" Preston says attempting to silence the other as he hides his flushed face.
"You are so adorable when you blush Preston" Lachlan just says giggling and pecks Preston's lips leaving the Texan even more of a mess than he was before.
