SyndiSparklez: Roses

I really like Mianite. Will probably be writing more of it. Anyway enjoy this little bit longer one shot. Also I might write a kind of sequal to this of how the thing that got the person trialed happened from their perspective. But to explain the universe a little bit; it would be minecraft meets somewhat reality and they would have some kind of communation system with each other as well as inventory.

Edit: Hallelujah, they actually have an official ship name now, but curse it for being so dang long.

-Tom's POV-

I had spent several hours trying to find some roses, but to no avail. I was going to try to search for a little longer, but Tucker had messaged me to head back to vote in a trial. I decided to stripmine back to at least make this trip not a total let down. I told Tucker it will be awhile before I would be back and he said that they would wait for me. And so I started the trip back home.

-TIME SKIP-

When I finally made it home, to the bottom of my mines, I could hear footsteps up in the house. I crouched just to be safe, even though I assumed it was Tucker waiting for me, and sneaked up the staircase to my base. What I saw wasn't Tucker, but in fact the man for who I was trying so hard to find the roses for, Jordan, sitting on one of my chests. I assume he was daydreaming since he was staring at nothing particular and smiling softly. I walked up to him and said

"What up Sparklypants?" He turned his gaze to me still smiling.

"I was just bored and decided to wait for you here, but anyway let's get going sir" He replied quickly but calmly and stood up making his way to the quarts house. I walked behind him while he invaded every thought I had with his cute face and adorable witty remarks.

The trial went quickly by and I didn't really pay much attention to it as I was occupied by my mind to think about Jordan. But in a nutshell what happened was this: the reason why the trial was held was that Tucker was killed by Sonja by, what she claimed was done accidentally, her hitting him off of a cliff with her wand, Sparklez made a pun about Sonja hitting on Tucker, Sparklez grinning widely as he was praised by Tucker making vomiting sounds, I voted guilty just because I could, Sonja was voted not guilty (most likely by Jordan) and then the trial ended.

Jordan walked to me as I was heading home from the trial, I didn't think much of it because we were neighbours after all.

"Would you like to go on an adventure with me?" Jordan asked breaking the silence between us.

"Sure, I'll just go get some supplies from home and we can go" I said accepting his invitation. He grinned wildly and sprinted to his house to get his own adventuring gear ready. I walked in to my house and got myself some necessary gear ready when I realized the fact that we were going to go on this adventure together, without distractions from Tucker or Sonja, I could maybe tell him. I was brought back from my thoughts by someone tapping me on my shoulder. I turned around to see a really happy and nervous Jordan, wait did he also change his clothes? Damn it can't see through the armor to make sure, well if he did that would be weird.

"You ready?" he asked excitement in his voice. "In a sec" I said scurrying to get the rest of my stuff and then we set afoot to our adventure.

-TIME SKIP-

We had gone through the nether to get to the snow biome and travelled for about an hour or so just chitchatting, until we decide to take a little break."Wait here for a second" I quickly said to him while taking my torches out of my inventory. We were currently in a roofed forest so I decided to light up the surrounding area so there woulnd't be mobs spawning near us.

"Wait here so you don't get lost" I quickly said to him while taking my torches out of my inventory, you never know what that man could get himself into with his stubbornness and absent mindedness. I quickly headed off so he wouldn't have to wait for too long.

-Jordan's POV-

I roll my eyes as Tom tells me not to get lost even though he would most likely be the one who would with his stubbornness and disregard for danger. I know we don't always get along but I still enjoy adventuring, pranking and generally just being with him. But currently I was somewhat concerned since he has been kind of nice to me lately. I mean don't get me wrong he is nice to me generally, but not this much. Even though I'm concerned I find it to be quite cute to be honest and I woulnd't mind if it would always be like this. Something in my brain tells me it's a trick, that he's just pretending, possibly for his god, and I should be careful. It's not unusual for Tom to lie.

I hear a rustling sound from my left and turn my head quickly towards it, it was just Tom. Wait why is he flustered. I raise my eyebrow hoping to get an answer from him, he notices he seems to consider his next move carefully. Then he quickly takes something from his inventory and hands them to me. I'm quite shocked when I realize it's a bundle of bright red roses. I take them in my hand, careful not break them. 

"I just thought you might like them" He said still a little flustered but getting over it now that he had handed me the roses.

"Yes, I do in fact like them" I said staring at the roses in awe wondering how he knew.

"I though so and I tried to get some earlier, but they all seemed to disappear because of my overwhelming manliness" He said trying to sound like he wouldn't care at all, and failing miserably.

"Well thank you for being so thoughtful" I thank him and give him a warm smile. He glances to the ground to think what to say next and how to say it.

"You know, I really like you and would do that any day just so that you would smile like that for me" He says and to tell the truth I was quite shocked, but quickly replied "I really appreciate that." I gave him a quick kiss on his cheek and continued "And I like you too."

He smiles a big toothy grin before hugging me like there was no tomorrow. He seems too genuine for me to think he was lying.

"You know just being with you makes me smile Tom" I said quietly hugging him back.
