I hope you like this!Warnings:none
Your stomach churned as you glanced at the table. Josuke, Koichi, and Okuyasu looked to you expectantly as you paused before them, not yet sitting down. You had told them to meet you at the cafe, but you hadn't yet revealed why. And you were terrified to say.
The boys shared a concerned glance. They knew something was wrong.
"Why don't you sit down, Y/n," Koichi offered, gesturing to the chair between him and Okuyasu. You gladly accepted, letting out a deep, stressed sigh.
"Is everything ok?" Josuke asked, leaning over the table.
No. You thought to yourself. Your breathing became shallow and rapid as you tried to keep your composure.
You had a secret. A secret you've never shared with anyone. It stayed in the depths of your mind as you constantly tried to push it out. You'd gone your entire life without telling a single soul, but you wanted things to be different. After a lot of thinking, contemplating, and reflection, you decided to share that secret with your friends. You built up your courage and held your head high, ready for whatever outcome, but the moment you saw the boys your heart sank to the pit of your stomach. You tried to speak but your voice failed, cracking under the pressure of your nerves. What if, when you told them, they completely rejected you, found you absolutely repulsive, and never spoke to you again? Those three were your closest confidants, and you were putting everything on the line.
You feared ruining your friendship with Okuyasu most. Out of all of them, your secret would hurt him most, and that's the last thing you wanted to do.
You began picking at your nails nervously. "I'm fine," you breathed.
"No you're not," Okuyasu started, "you always pick your nails when something's wrong." His eyebrows knit as he watched your anxious movements.
"Come on, you can tell us what's going on," Koichi insisted.
"I guess I did bring you all here, and you deserve to know why," you realized shakily running your fingers along the empty glass in front of you. "I have something to tell you, and I don't know how you'll react but I've known you guys for years now and I trust you," you rambled as you brought your eyes to meet each of the boys.
"You can tell us anything, Y/n," Okuyasu assured while Josuke and Koichi nodded along.
There was no turning back now, and that was probably for the best. The boys leaned close to you, their nerves build8ng with the suspense. You took one last shaky breath before ripping the bandaid off, "DIO is my father." You bit your cheek.
It was silent while they processed your words. The emptiness made the churning in your stomach worsen. You watched their faces, Josuke: completely slack-jawed as his brain put the pieces together, Koichi: eyes wide but still held his composure, but Okuyasu's reaction terrified you; he was dead silent, his face still as stone.
"Like the DIO that Jotaro and Joseph fought in Egypt?" Josuke blurted. "The DIO that Okuyasu's dad-" he stopped, biting his tongue. "Oh."
You gave a regretful nod. "Yes. DIO met my mother in Egypt and used her as he did with many others, but eventually, it became more than that, I was was born in Egypt and then my mother and I moved here to Morioh."
