you never thought that you would lose him so soon, especially when you just got him back. you couldn't breath, you couldn't eat, you couldn't even think about how you're going to live your life without him.everyone looked at you pitifully, even with roman constantly rubbing your back, you've never felt so alone. no matter how hard you tried to refrain yourself, you can't stop replaying how he died in your head.
"anything?" tej asked the moment little nobody stepped into the room. "nothing, they're gone." he answered. "and the DOD confirmed it was a nuclear football."
"he's got an EMP and nuclear launch codes. i don't know what it is, but they're building towards something."
"deckard?" luke asked. you noticed how a few people avert their eyes to look at you. "he didn't make it." little nobody said, shaking his head. you inhaled loudly before standing up and walking away, after muttering a quiet sorry.
you didn't know where to go, but you found a car similar to what deckard drives around with; an aston martin. you grabbed the handle, finding it surprisingly unlocked.
you climbed in the driver's seat. resting your head agaist the steering wheel. you were tired of crying. your eyes hurt and your head was pounding. "god, i'm a mess." you sniffled. "i can't believe you're actually gone.. i don't wanna believe it." you whispered. remembering how he used to hold you.
let's get one thing straight; you love beaches. it's probably one of your favorite places in the world to be, and you always get excited to spend an entire day at the beach with deckard.
you were practically vibrating with excitement the entire drive to the beach. "wait, deck the beach is that way." you said, watching how deckard missed the turn towards the beach.
"be patient darling, i'm taking you somewhere else." he said, grabbing your hand and kissing it softly.
by the time you reach your destination, the sun was shining and the air was warm. deckard took you to a smaller beach, concealed from the rest world.
"deck! it's beautiful!" you said, running and hugging him, giggling when he picked you up and spun you around.
by the time you were done, there were no more tears left to cry. you made your way out of the car to grab some water.
"you okay?" letty asked. "i'm going to be fine." you muttered quietly. "it's okay," letty said, enveloping you in a hug. "everything's going to be just fine."
