''Look at her! She's throwing up every day, how are we to support this in our camp? I don't want my kits turning out like this.''
''I know Daisytoe, But I'm trying to help ease her off of it, she keeps turning away from me.''
''Well you'd better learn to get her to stop turning away, she doesn't have any friends, hates training, hates her clan and clanmates, hates her food, I don't know what else is wrong with her!''
''Do not speak about my daughter like she's some creature from the mountains!''
''Well she isn't from the mountains, but she is quite a creature.''
Troutstream hissed at Daisytoe, unsheathing her claws. ''My daughter is not a creature! She is a beautiful apprentice. If you think otherwise about your own clanmate, you shouldn't be her clanmate.''
''Great, tell her to take a vole with her, she doesn't want clanmates, she won't have clanmates.''
Troutstream lunged at the queen, raking her claws across the queen's face. Daisytoe snapped away with a hiss. The cream cat sank her teeth into Troutstream's foreleg, wrapping her paws around her neck. Troutstream screeched, leaning down and grabbing Daisytoe's neck, flinging her away. Blood oozed from Troutstream's wound. She raked her claws down Daisytoe's flank, her fur now slick with blood.
''Your kits should have never been birthed by such a cruel monster like you!'' Troutstream spat,
''Neither should've your little monstrosity.''
''Take it back! Or deal with something harsher than your own pain, the death of your kits!''
''You, you wouldn't dare.''
The brown kit began to whimper, watching her mother fight the much sweeter queen, Troutstream.
''Quiet Pinekit! Troutstream wants to kill you!'' Meowed Daisytoe, her mother.
''Your kit is a bad omen, a danger to our clan. You need to get her out of here before all the other apprentices and warriors catch this disease, you should have her checked out by the medicine cat.'' Daisytoe then added, ''Checked out for being completely crazy.''
Troutstream flattened her ears, storming out to the leader's den.
''Thornstar, we need to speak, it's very urgent.''
''Alright.'' A tan tabby emerged from the den.
''About what, may I ask you, Troutstream?''
''About my daughter. Daisytoe believes she's a bad omen, she's making fun of my precious kit. I mean, yes she's throwing up every day but I don't know why! Is she sick? I don't want to assume anything.''
''Seems like you and Daisytoe had quite a tussle.'' Thornstar pointed with his tail at her injured foreleg,
''You have to do something for the sake of my daughter!''
''I'm afraid I can only tell Daisytoe to keep her opinions to herself. I can't tell you to force her to the medicine cat. It would be good if we could get a diagnosis. Find a cat she's close to, you need to learn what's wrong.''
''Thanks, Thornstar.'' Troutstream sighed.
(Sorry this chapter was really short, I don't have a good story structure yet but I'm trying!)
