" Okay take 10"  My boss said as she stared at us. I headed into the break room with other interns.

" I can't wait till I start designing my own clothes" an intern said as she walked in with another intern.

I found a table and I pulled out my phone seeing missed calls from kaylaa and a text from kayden.

" I miss you 🥺 " kayden text read. I blushed as I read it.

It's been a week since we decided that we would give us a try and start talking, it makes me so happy seeing his soft side.

" Hey" I heard a voice say to me. I look up seeing a pretty lightskin girl with a few freckles on her face.

" Hi" I said scooting my seat over so she had room to sit. " Since the first day I wanted to tell you I like your style" she said as she sat down next to me.

" Aw thank you, I love your vintage style" I said looking at her outfit. " My name is India btw" I continued.

" Thanks and my name is Amour" she said. " How are you liking the internship so far ? " she asked.

" It's okay, It's just the traveling I don't like " I said rolling my eyes at the thought of trains.

" Tell me about it, queens all the way to manhattan is a drag but since i'm getting paid i'm not complaining that much" She joked.

We laughed and continued to talk until our boss called us back after the 10 minutes.

" Air ball " Armon teased as I tried to shoot a three.
" Nigga it's windy " I said as they all laughed.

" I'm finna bounce cause y'all wild for playing in this weather" rico said while walking to his bag.

" Can't handle this work" armon said.

" Aye ain't that your girl ? " zack said making me turn my head.

I jog over to get the ball that was rolling away, I look up seeing erika walking into the park with tilani and few of her friends.

Sighs..

" Hey k" she said as she walked up to me. " Wassup erika" I said not making eye contact.

" Long time no see" she put her hair in the back of her ears.

" I'ma catch y'all later" I said to the gang as I walked to get my belongings.

" I missed you" She said walking along side of me.

" That's tuff" I chuckled.
