Chapter 2: Mystery girl... and a book?

"She went this way!" David yells while pointing down the main hallway of the school. "Who is she?" Charlotte says while out of breath. "Hey guys how about we go the other way!" Sophia says with a soft voice. The three have been running trying to follow this girl to find out why life was fine one moment but then not the next. "She went this way!" Sophia starts running towards a dark figure that looked like the girl.

The three came into a room and it was empty for the most part. They looked around trying to see if they see the mysterious girl. "Have you found anything?" David yells while looking. "No" Sophia and Charlotte say at the same time. "Who the hell are you?" a random voice said. "Huh?" David looks up and sees a girl. "Are you the girl that was looking at us?" David says calmly. "I don't know what you are talking about and who is us?" The girl says with a little attitude. Sophia runs into the room. "Kaite?" Sophia says with a confused face. "Oh, hey sophia." Kaite replied back to her with a smile. "How do you know her Sophia? " David says while getting up and walking towards her. "I have her in my chorus class dummy" Sophia says while laughing. Kaite laughs too. "So who was the girl that was looking at us?" David says to the girls. "Guys, Over here!" Charlotte yells. David, Sophia, and Kaite run into the next room. "Carry?" David says. "David!" Carry says with excitement. Carry runs up to david and hugs him. "Why are you here?" David says while huggingher back. "I saw something happen in the cafeteria and I ran straight here because I thought I was being chase." Carry says while getting a hold of herself. "So you saw us in the cafeteria?" David says while looking at her in the eyes. "I wasn't able to tell" carry says looking at the ground "all I was seeing was three black figures."
"This is why the shool needs new lights" Kaite says laughing.

"So I guess it was just Carry that saw us" David says in relief. "So what do we do now?" Sophia says confused. The room just stood silent. "Let's go see what's going on exactly" Kaite says. "So you know what happened?" Charlotte says to Kaite. "Yea, why else would I be here" Kaite replies. "Idk, its was just a question" Charlotte says starting to walk out. The group starts heading out of the room until David heard something fall. "What was that?" David said with confused face. The four look at him confused. "We didn't hear anything, you're just crazy" Sophia says to david laughing. "Sophia!" Charlotte and kaite said while laughing. The group laughed with her. David walked to where the sound was and sees a book. He bends down to grab it and sees that it's a not a normal school book. He looks around to see where the book could've came from but, no luck. He puts the book in his book bag and gets back with the gang. While he leaves there is a dark figure standing in the middle of the room smiling.
