YOSHIHIRO POV

It's been two weeks, but Iris is still not okay. After what happened to her mother and father, she got depressed. Not eating, not working, no sleeping. Everytime I will go to her condo, she's not facing me. She will immediately locked the door. And I’m worried about her health.

“Iris, I will go to work today, takecare.” but there's no response. "Nami-miss ka na nila.” I sighed. Still no response.

When I get here in the Resurrection General Hospital, everyone's greeting me but I can't respond to their greetings. I'm only focused in Iris conditions. I went to my office to relax my mind.

“Kamusta si Iris?” rinig kong tanong ni Akihiro sa akin ng maka-pasok siya sa office ko.

“Hindi pa rin siya okay.” sagot ko habang may chini-check ang mga list ng mga pasyente.

“Hindi niya p'wedeng p'wersahin ang kaniyang sarili. Pag nangyari 'yun, p'wedeng ma-apektuhan ang kaniyang utak. Alam mo 'yan, bro.” seryosong sabi niya. Kaya tinignan ko siya ng seryoso.

“Alam ko. I'm trying to comfort her, but she's just not totally okay. Hindi ko rin p'wede ipilit.” walang emosyon kong sabi. “Dahil kahit anong gawin ko, kung ayaw niya edi ayaw niya.” frustrated na sabi ko sakaniya at lumabas ng opisina.

“Salamat. Sensei Yoshi.” ngumiti ang pasyente sa akin, at tipid ko siyang nginitian. “Totoo nga 'yung sabi nila na you're the great sensei in this hospital.” nakangiti pa rin siya.

I shook my head, “No, there are many doctors here that are great. Not only me, but thank you. Take care on your way home.” A little smile escaped from my lips.

Pumunta agad ako sa isang room ng isa ko pang pasyente. She's in private room, resting. When I opened the door, I saw her sitting on her bed reading something. But, then she looked at me and gave me a smile.

“Sensei!” Suddenly, Gwen put the book on the desk and only focused in me. “Saan ka po galing? Bigla po kasing sumakit 'yung puso ko tapos nag-panic sila mama, pero.. Buti nag-punta si Lucas sensei.” she said.

“Ah, sorry for that. One of my patient discharge today, so I had to see that person off.” nakangiti kong sagot.

Tumango na lang siya at nag-basa muli.
Katulad ng iba, meron siyang sakit na kung tawagin ay 'arrhythmias'. Arrhythmias means where the heart beats too slowly, too quickly, or irregularly. Marami na din kaming pasyente may ganoong sakit. Some of them, survive. But, some of them end of dying. But this time we're hardly working because we are Doctors.

“Say, sensei.. Kamusta na 'yung girlfriend mong nurse?” Biglaang tanong niya kaya lumingon ako sakaniya. “Hindi ko na siya nakikita. Wala na tuloy akong maka-kwentuhan dito sa kwartong 'to.” may bakas sa boses niya ang pagka-lungkot.

“Ah, she's resting for now. Pero babalik din siya.” sagot ko. At chineck ko ang vitals sign niya. “Okay, you're now better. You should rest, someday, makakalabas ka din dito sa hospital.” I gave her little smile, and then she smiled at me.

“Thank you, sensei.” A little tears escaped from her eyes as I hugged her.

Ten PM

I decided to go home early besides, kailangan ko talagang umuwi ng maaga para tignan kung okay na ba si Iris.

Nang makarating ako sa floor kung saan kami naka p'westo I saw her, standing there.
