There once was a mouse dude-
And this dumbass kid gave him a cookie and the mouse ate it and was like
"yo kid I'mma die soon because I ate chocolate can you make my last hours happy?"
And the kid was like "um- alright I guess- what do you want to do?"
And the mouse says "well- I've always wanted to ride a ferris wheel"
And so the boy goes to the nearby ferris wheel
(because plot reasons)
and pays the fee for the two of them to ride
The mouse stares at the setting sun over the city
"hey little boy..?"
He says glancing at the child
"My name is Henry but continue-"
"Henry..? Why'd you give me food? You had no reason to. And I'm just a mouse so I have no way to repay you... So why'd you do it..?"
Henry stares over the skyline of the town for a moment before replying
"I dunno... You seemed so.. helpless... I know the world is a big scary place where you can't really control much but... I wanted to help someone who had less than me.. I guess..."
The mouse smiles at him warmly
"I'm glad we met, Henry..."
"Even though I poisoned you?" Henry looks at the mouse suspiciously
"yeah... I'm happy I get to spend my final hours with you..."
As the two look over the sunset they can this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship
