As if we still were

Getting comfortable

He smiled as she accepted the gown. "Where's the bathroom?" She asked. He led her there and she went inside to change. Meanwhile as she did he also changed into his night clothes. Fuzzy pants and a sweatshirt. Then he laid down and covered up as he waited for Carol to come to bed. A moment later she came out. He looked at her in aww as he blushed. "You look very beautiful Sparks." He said. She looked down as she approached the bed, "Thank you..." She replied with. She climbed in as he scanned her. She laid beside him and he scooted closer so her wrapping his arms around her and laying his head on her chest. She shoved him off. "But Sparks..." "No! I can't. I won't." "Ok..." "Ya know what I'm not even tired anymore..." There was silence but Venomous soon broke it. "How about we watch a movie together...." He suggested. She signed and nodded. He grabbed the remote from the nightstand on his side of the bed. "Any suggestions?" He asked. "Just pick...." She said.

About five minutes later he finally found a movie for them. It was a romance comedy. He had never seen it before and she confirmed that she hadn't either. With that he decided to play it. He wasn't really focused on it as he was more focused on Carol. She seemed very interested into the film. He waited a few minutes then he slowly moved his arm and put it around her shoulder and quickly turned his head back to the movie before she could turn to him. He felt her eyes piercing through him. But he didn't feel his arm being pushed away. So he slowly looked over to meet her gaze. The two stared for moment before she turned back to the tv. "Sparks can I rest my head on you?" He asked. "Uh...sure" She responded. Once again he lay his head on her chest. Listening to her heartbeat and smiling as he watched the film. "Sparks can you scratch my head its a bit itchy?" "Sure ..." With that she began as he asked. It felt just like old times. 

After about an hour of the movie, a scene where the girl and the guy meet under a tree as begin to make out. This made Venomous a bit uneasy as this brought back memories of him and Carol when they did things like that. He too could tell that Carol was kind of feeling the same way. Two movies later it was now 2:03am and he looked over at Carol to see that she was already asleep. He turned off the tv and wrapped his arms her waist and kissed her on the cheek knowing Carol would be angry if she knew. "Night Sparks." He whispered into her ear and then began to drift off to sleep.

The next morning Carol awoke to the smell of pancakes and bacon. She sat up and saw Venomous wasn't laying next to her anymore. Instead there was a blue robe with a note. The note simply read, "For you Sparks." With that she put it on and began down the stairs and followed the smell. She came to the kitchen and stopped in her tracks and saw a little green humanoid rat sitting at the table playing on a game console. The rat wore pink sleeping clothes and her hair was all over the place. "Ah Sparks, good morning~" Venomous said and he looked over at her. This caused the green rat's head to turn and look at her. Her eyes widen at the sight of Carol. "Boss! Who is this?!" She asked. Venomous smiled and went over to her and squatted down beside her and looked over at Carol and spoke, "This is Carol I call her Sparks as I did when we were...closer." She looked confused. Carol waved at her but the rat didn't wave back. "And Carol this is my little minion, Fink." He spoke up. "Hello Fink." Carol said nervously. Fink nodded and waved.

Venomous then set down a plate for Fink, Carol and himself. Fink started eating as so did he but he noticed that Carol wasn't. "What's wrong Carol?" He asked her. Carol shrugged. "What? Do you think I put something in your food?" "Maybe..." He chuckled along with Fink this made Carol very uneasy as she stood up. The two stopped their laughter as Carol excused herself and began walking out of the kitchen. Before Venomous could ask her where she was going she had completely exited the kitchen. "Stay here Fink." "Okay boss." With that he got up and began to see where Carol had gone off too as he called out to her. She wasn't answering. He went back upstairs to his bedroom and saw Carol staring out of the window. "Carol!" He shouted. She flinched and turned around to see him walking up the her. When he made it to her he grasped her shoulders. "What's wrong?" He asked. "What did you put in the food Venomous?" "Nothing." "No what did you put in it!?!" "Nothing I swear! I'm sorry I was just joking around!" She sighed and looked him in the eye. "Well it wasn't funny after all you are a villain." She said. "Well I still have respect for you so I wouldn't do anything to you like that." He said without breaking eye contact.

After breakfast Venomous put some clothes her size on the bed for her. She wondered where he kept getting them but she was grateful that he got her something to wear. She asked him if she could take a shower and he agreed and afterwards she put on the clothes he got for her. It was a purple sweater and black skinny jeans with black boots. Afterwards she went downstairs so Venomous could take her to go get her truck back. Stepping into the living room she didn't see Venomous but heard him cat call her from behind. Spinning around she came face to face with him. "Stop it Venomous!" She shouted at him. Smirking he just said, "But you look good~" "Come on just take me to the shop." She snapped back. "Say please~" He teased. She just walked out and into the garage. He rolled his eyes and he got Fink together and got in the car with Carol. Later on they made it to the shop Carol jumped out as did Venomous. Venomous rushed before her and paid the mechanic before Carol could. Knowing he'd bring it up later when he would find a favor for her to do for him. 

Carol glared at him knowing he was playing at something but couldn't tell what. He just smirked and winked at her as he got back in his car and sat watching her. She got inside her vehicle and began to drive to the plaza. She looked in the rearview mirror and saw his car following. Without stopping she kept going and made it she turned into the plaza lot. Expecting to see him do the same but he turned the opposite way and he turned into the Boxmore parking lot. He parked and got out with Fink and they walked inside. She now felt safer and went into Gar's Bodega. Two hours passed and she found herself at a nearby park, sitting on a bench eating a sugar cone of strawberry ice cream with chocolate syrup. She just so happen to look up at the building of Boxmore and saw Professor Venomous staring down with binoculars at the park. She wasn't sure who or what exactly he was looking at. But it was soon confirmed that he was looking at her when he waved. She got up and drove away to her home.
