Summary:
she reminds him of jimin and his heart aches with it. every time she giggles and her whole body convulses, every time she smiles and her eyes disappear. he wants to see that smile every second of every day until he can get her home, until he can get home. but he can't keep her smiling, not when it's snowing so hard and she's small and hungry and thirsty and cold, cold, cold, cold.
he's holding her and he still doesn't know her name but it doesn't matter. she's too weak to speak, shivering and he's holding her. he'll keep holding her until he finds her family (he doesn't think they're even alive, but he has to try) and he won't ever, ever, ever let go until she tells him to.
but his heart aches every time she smiles that smile, jimin's smile. his heart aches when she giggles the way he does. his heart aches when he sees her small, small body inside his armor, way too big and heavy but warm and protective nonetheless. his heart aches when he sees her huddle into the armor, the armor that he wore when he was supposed to kill her entire village.
(In this jungkook in a soldier who leaves jimin behind to go to war .a little bit of angst with a happy ending. I love this! Amazingly written.)
