Upon Midnight to Day

Lunch

I went to go have lunch with NaNa and I took Jaiden with me. My son goes with me everywhere I go. I met her up at a nice cafe shop to talk about things we need to catch up on.

Shai: Hey my love *I gave her a hug holding onto Jaiden*

NaNa: Hi chica and hey my cookie monster*as she picked up Jaiden and gave him a kiss on the cheek* So let's sit down and talk.

Shai: Okay girl *as I sat down Jaiden in a booster seat* So what's up with you?

NaNa: Okay so you know I'm trying to find someone because I feel like I deserve a special someone in my life. So I made a blackpeoplemeet.com account, I know your going to say why and all but they have nice black men on there and they fineeee.*she laughed*.

Shai: Girl I don't care who it is and where you find him but as long as your careful on these dating sites and he treats you like a queen then I'm happy for you and plus I haven't seen you smile like that since I don't know how long...like high school?! *I giggled to myself*.

NaNa: Well thank you for understanding and oh hush whateva it has not been that long. *we laughed and Jaiden begun to cry* I think Jaiden wants you to stop talking and put more food in his mouth.

Shai: Oh I'm sorry pooh, here ya go. *as I tore off a piece of bread and dipped it into some melted butter*. There you go man man.

NaNa: Sooooo you and my brother? *as she smirked* When are yall going to hang out because I know you like him a lot.

Shai: Girllll stop. *as I laughed* I mean I do like your brother but he doesn't need a girl like me. I have a son and issues that I haven't even got resolved yet so I don't know when we are going to hang and besides he doesn't act like he likes me back.

NaNa: Shut up Shai you talking out your ass for real *as she laughed*. You know damn well my brother doesn't care about all of that. He knows that you are a great mother and you will do anything you have to,to make it. We have issues to just like everybody else in the world. Don't ever think you having Jaiden was a set back to you having something greater in your life like my brother. All I'm saying is go get him and we need to feed Jaiden some collard greens and cornbread because he love to eat*we laughed so hard*.

Shai: Well I understand your point of view and thank you but we're going to head out,so bye my love bug*I kissed her cheek and she gave me one back. Jaiden gave her his wet kisses too.*

NaNa: Alright my babies I'll see yall later too.
