Okay, so I absolutely hate this. Like this is a burning, boiling hatred. When people aren't paying attention. Not in class, or if someone trips because they weren't looking, no. It's when I'm talking and someone isn't paying attention to a DAMN thing I say.
This happened to me just a few minutes ago. I was talking to my step-brother and he was playing a stupid video game. He wasn't saying anything so I asked if he was paying attention. HE SAID NO. HE STOPPED PAYING ATTENTION DURING THE BEGINNING OF WHAT I WAS SAYING.
Like, why? Is your fucking video game more important than what I'm saying? Your life doesn't depend on that stupid piece of shit. For all he knew I could have been talking about the cure for AIDS.
Then there's when I'm telling my parents about something and they just kinda "uh huh". You know they aren't paying attention then. Like, what if I'm pregnant? What if I got raped? They wouldn't be paying attention so they wouldn't know.
