Ayanna's pov
It's been a week since August saved me. Neither one of us has been to work and we haven't spoken more than five words to each other since. I think he thinks I'm gonna get back on the ledge again. To be honest I was really considering jumping but then again I really didn't want too. It was because of August that I was out on the ledge but it was also him that had stopped me.
I walked downstairs to find August on the couch... So I spoke.
"You wanna go get some lunch?" I asked.
He turned around and looked at me as if this was the first time I've ever spoken.
"Uhh yea sure" he stood up turning off the TV and walking towards me.
"Where we goin?" He asked grabbing my hand.
"U want some Olive Garden?" I asked.
"Yea imma go hop in the shower and u do the same ok?" He asked swinging my arm back and forth.
I nodded giving him a slight smile then walking back upstairs to our room.
August pov
I got out the guest room shower then walked upstairs in my towel to find Ayanna dressed stand on the balcony looking out at the city.
I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her waist and I felt her jump a little bit.
"U ok?" I asked rocking us both back and forward.
"Yea I'm just thinking" she said turning around towards me.
I looked her in her eye's and kissed her on the forehead before walking into the closet. She followed me in and peeped around the corner as I took off the towel. I saw her smile and couldn't help but chuckle a Lil bit as I put my clothes on.
