Important Info About New Changes

This is important information I feel you should read if you don't want to read it. I'll be writing a TLDR at the bottom. Though I would rather you read it all.

First off thank you all very very much for your questions I really enjoyed talking to you about them.

however it has struck me while I was answering about what happens when people graduate under Tamer Academy that the school makes little sense.

I originally presented undertamer Academy as being like a high school in a way the people there are High School age with sans being 17, Frisk being 16, the papyrus being 15 and the youngest students at the school being 13.

This was because I originally took inspiration from Harry Potter (surprise I bet none of you saw that coming) anyway in that story hug what is kind of like a high school and it fits in that particular universe but....

It struck me that this is quite flawed since lot of the school seems to act more like a university.

They stay in dorms, they have individual classes, they have study periods, they seem more mature individuals and they're not studying high school level stuff.
They're going on to a higher more direct field of learning by studying dragons which would be considered a university course.

So I have decided that I would like to recon the fact that under Tamar Academy is like the high school I would like to make it more along the lines of the university.

one that in a way has a dress code and supplies food and rooms for students so they don't need to work jobs.

it's more like a university none the less because you usually have to pay for your education frisk has a scholarship.

To me this makes a lot more sense to the story, and will definitely make a few later plot points a little less questionable? You'll understand later. - _-

This means things have to change.

First off I will be changing the ages of my characters. Frisk will no longer by 16 she'll be about 19 to 20 years old.

sans on the other hand will be about 21 to 22.  It means they're does still young but they're slightly older now because they're more along the lines of university.
This means that sans' friends group will actually all be quite a lot older than him at least 25 or 26.

As for papyrus age, the main thing with him is he usually about 2 years younger than sans so whatever age I make sans he'll be 2 years younger. MTT is the same age as him.

This means that the way the school functions will also need to change.

To explain frisk has started an entry-level course. This is where they give you a small trainable dragon to study and train over the next 2 to 3 years.
you will also studying wide array of basic principles such as:

dragon training, dragon history, dragon breeding, excetra.

then if you succeed well in these subjects you can go on to take part in higher level courses.

There are a few groups to this

The first being honing in on a specific text book subject, which are things like dragon breeding or dragon history.
You can hone in and study these professionally to gauge more into a career in dragonology.

Other courses which are more to do with just observing and studying Dragons.

The final course would be training dragons.
now this is a dangerous coarse. Sans is on it as most of his friends group.

You must go out into the woods tame and train a wild dragon and study it.

This is the coarse the school is famous for. Its a very practical course with not a lot of textbook work.
It's mainly to build real-world knowledge of how to train dragons.
Very few go for this coarse as it is famous for being dangerous.

After signing up for this you have to sigh a waiver, which means nobody can get mad at the school upon damage or death of your person.

Also you must pass an exam. this exam is the one that frisk is currently training for.
Gaster offered it to her knowing how dangerous it was.
In the exam you have to tame an angry dragon and pet it. If you are successful then you will be aloud on the course.

Also in case you were wondering sans is technically on this course. Despite not being old enough for it. This is because he's lived at the school almost his whole life and is basically ahead of a lot of people.

So that's the changes to under Tamer Academy.
now be more like the university. Let me know your thoughts because I love talking to you guys. if all is good I will be going back and changing the text of the story to make it sound more like a University.

In other news I am working on blasters new design and I've also been working on the redesigns of the au characters which I said I would be doing.

TLDR. undertamer will no longer be like a high school, it will be more like a University.
The characters ages will be changed accordingly with Frisk 19 to 20 and Sans being 21 to 22.
I also added a lot of information about how the school and the study courses actually work so it's probably a good thing to read.
