Jesse woke up after feeling two floppy ears literally smack him in the eye, he silently cursed his father. He slowly rose out of bed only to flinch a bit almost moaning a bit after feeling his tail rub against the bottom of the bed he'd forgotten how sensitive the damn thing was. He tried his best to ignore it for the time being. He mentally cursed his dad for having him drawn this way. He sat on the side of his bed making sure not to rub his tail against tit or he's have bigger problems to deal with. With a sigh he started to head towards the bathroom connected to his own to take a shower. Streams of hot water traveled down his body, but he couldn't help but think about the bar girl (y/n) was so different. Unlike other girls she seemed to be.. put off by him? And though she blushed and stared at him she seemed to always distance herself, normally women would practically fall out chairs to get closer to him. It frustrated him to think about it, was she afraid of him? The last thing he wanted was to scare her. As Jesse stepped out the shower he ran his hands through his scarlet hair, his fingers glided through smoothly only causing an abrupt halt at the end where his hair tangled a bit. He quickly separated the strands between his fingers. He stared at his fogged up mirror and wiped a hand across it to look at himself...he stared down his pale skin on his chest, shoulders, and neck, the bone that made his jaw, and the teal that plagued his eyes. He didn't smile, and just stared at the very obvious redness around this nose and cheeks. He was made with no flaws, he couldn't even call his ears and tail errors because even the unnecessary extremities fit him perfectly. He sighed and looked at the clock in his bathroom...10:30.
"I slept in, hopefully I feel better by the time we have to open up".
Jesse walked out his shower thankful that the steam somewhat warmed his cold house, he dragged his wet furry rabbit feet across the hard wood they made a wet sloshy sound every time they'd hit a surface. He hated that fucking sound and the small puddles they left behind. He quickly got to his room and after drying off and drinking some tea, he was able to regain power over his form again but not completely, a white tail still wriggled at his back. He sighed in annoyance after trying to make it go away being that its literally his most sensitive appendage. He settled on some black sweatpants and allowed it to hang low on his hips. He didn't bother putting on a shirt because he didn't want it to rub against the fur ball attached to his lower half. He wiped his hands over his face stressed out. He'd have to back at the bar at least 5. Frustration started to fill his mind. Sometimes he hated how popular the place was. He never caught a break but really couldn't complain because of the money he was making. But a thought caught his mind. He saw the shadow at the bar while he drunk, despite being inebriated he was always aware of surroundings do the rabbit part of him. Did he imagine it? It could've just been a lagging patron but he could feel that they purposefully hiding being overall nosey. He rolled his eyes a wrote it off as a fan with unintentional stalker tendencies.
*BRINNG*
His house phone was going off and with every loud ass ring it jiggled and jousled the sides of the stand it was on like a snakes rattle. He hadn't heard it in a while considering only few people know his house phone number...His parents, Bobby, and his creator were the only one who ever contacted him. The phone continued to ring off the roof, in this world they almost acted like tea kettles. If you don't get to it fast enough it would just get worse. He reluctantly walked over to it.
"Hi son, didja you miss me?"
Jesse immediately ripped the phone from his ear and went to slam it in the reciever until he heard a familiar voice. His chest heaved and slowly put the communication device back to his ear.
"Hello Mother"
"Hello Roderick, I see you finally answered the phone... why won't you just talk to your father?"
"Mom it's not like that...I just had an episode the other day and a worker saw.."
"You were drinking weren't you? Well that's what you get..."
