Regret message

    Skyler stood sadly in front of the blue sea staring into the sunset. She had done it. She saved her one true love from the monster that was herself. Despite the pain being overwhelming she knew what had to be done. She decided that it would be best to erase her from Elliot's life. By doing this she saved him from both physical and mental harm. The woe was unbearable for her to even think of but when she did it. She began to drown in her own emotions of fear, anger, and sadness. She began having a flashback to the moment.

    She silently entered the room where he sat. Her eyes went against her mind begging them not to release
the liquid tears. Her whole body began to quake as she walked up to Elliot. As Elliot noticed her worry washed upon his face. He scanned Skyler with concern, wondering why she was crying. She pulled Elliot into a hug and began to weep loudly. He tried his best to comfort her. After a few moments of feeling is kind touch one last time she knew that it could no longer be avoided. Skyler looked at Elliot to say her final goodbye

    "Elliot, thank you for being there for me. You helped me through so much. I have been selfish, keeping you here, and hurting you. I love you more than anything in the multiverse and I couldn't just let you go. Now I really am ready. I'm sorry that I hurt you like this. Don't worry, I won't be hurt and you will no longer be in danger, I will save you" She said.

    Confusion showed on his face. Before he got the chance to say anything She took them all. She stole every last encounter with her. The memories become hazy and his face blank. It hurt her more than anything to see him like that. She began to have second thoughts but she quickly shoved them out, She was doing the right thing for him. Moments pass when she noticed his mind coming back to perspective. It was then that she knew she had to leave.

    Now there she was. Staring off into the deep abyss of an ocean. She had made herself a note. She wrote down everything she wanted to say to Elliot. She needed to do this before she erased her memories. If she hadn't she couldn't truly allow herself to erase them.. She put the note into a glass bottle and set it on the clear waves. Slowly the bottle drifted into the sea. The large glass bottle soon turned into nothing but a small dot. The dot symbolising her last ray of hope that would soon disappear. She closed her eyes and thought of the note. She remembered every last word that she wrote. She thought of every last apology and every last regret. Tears once again began to flow out of her shut eyes as she envisioned every last letter

    "Through the darkest of days you were always by my side. No matter what I would say you would abide. Constantly I let my selfishness take control of me and caused you a life full of grief, but now all because of the mistakes that I have made, you're no longer here with me. In order to get all this pain off of my chest I must spill my woes into the sea" The note read.

    Skyler opened her eyes once again the vision of the note slowly vanished. It was finally her turn to forget all she loved. With her ray of hope gone with the ocean she had nothing left to lose. she focused on the memories as the began to vanish.  Everything that she seemed to love was going to leave all because of her. She will lose everything as a price for her many mistakes that she made

    It starts at the club where she met her love. It moved to the park that they frequently visited. The memories flashed through every small detail. The feeling of Elliots soft fur running through her warm fingers. The slight smell of forest that his body always seemed to hold. She thought of the secrets they both shared, and their many fears. She thought of the bitter-sweet feeling of love. She remembered the jokes they loved to laugh at.

    Then everything stopped at their wedding. It was clearer than any of the other memories. Skyler wore a long white dress that dragged on the ground as she walked through the isle. Elliots face lit up when he saw her and he looked as handsome as ever. She stared at the well fit suit that complimented his style. There was a faint smell of roses and a light that seemed to have come from heaven. She remembered her heart pounding as they were getting wed. She thought of the soothing music that echoed throughout the hall as they elegantly moved to form a dance. It was that memory that was the worse to lose. It was the happiest day of her life.

    The memory started to vanish and she felt herself reaching out for it. Her hand pleaded for the memory to return. She regretted getting rid of the memory.Despite her efforts the memory faded from her mind. Everything left her head. She was once again alone in the world.

    The memories they shared were long forgotten with the bottle that would never be found. Skyler and Elliot went their separate ways and continued to live through a dark life without their ray of hope. Elliot got left with Skylers best friend Karma, and Skyler went back to being all by herself. This was a punishment she was willing to take if it saves elliot. Despite having her memory lost every once in awhile, in a dream, she will see a bright light and a handsome man. She will dream of a beautiful wedding and a mass feeling of regret. She feels a need to go and find this man. Only in her dreams she can see this. Only in her dreams can she remember the happiest day of her life.
