As they entered the dining room of the beach house, Cole looked at the cake in awe as it was decorated in unique styles in a single-decker chocolate cake.
"Wow! Since when did you make this kind this kind of cake?", he asked Kira.
"Since I was twelve, I became a talented baker like... forever", she answered as she grabbed the plates for each of them and grabbed the knife to cut the cake into regular slices.
After that, they sat down in the dining table to eat each slice of cake.
"Mmmm. Your cake is delicious, Kira", said Cole.
"Thanks, Cole. I baked it myself. By the way, this is my own recipe", she said.
"You made your own recipes?", said Cole.
"Yeah. Ever since I won last year's bake-off", answered Kira.
Then, they both laughed.
While they're eating cake, they got to know even more about each other.
"So, Kira", he gained her attention,"When was the last time you and your family met Master Wu?".
"Well, I'm glad you asked", answered Kira as she explained the whole story.
Flashback
It was the day after the new law about never talking to foreigners is decreed and the Hart family headed to visit Master Wu one last time. They headed towards an unknown building, which was located in the lot station from the West #1 St. West #1 was the street very closest to the center of the town of Heroville.
When they went through the building, they were transferred to Ninjago in a place called "Monastery of Spinjitzu" (This happened in Season 11 while the Ninja are trying to seek for quests).
"Oh, Brett. You're back", said Wu smiling at him,"And I see that you've brought you're family here".
"Yup", said Brett as he introduced Wu and the Hart family to each other.
"We're so honored to meet you, Master", said Kira bowing down to him.
"And I'm so honored to meet you too, Kira", he said, then he asked Brett,"Anyways, what are you here for?".
Brett's face saddens and he sighed,"Well, since the new law was decreed by the new mayor, we might not see each other face to face and this is the last time we meet each other".
Wu sighed in sadness,"I see. Look, I know we might not see each other again, but you must have this".
As he said this, he showed him a big book, which was a journal.
"A journal?", he said taking it.
"Yes. We can still talk anytime, even though we're far apart", he said.
As both of them were talking about stuff, Kira spotted a picture of Master Wu with six ninjas (five boys and one girl), Master Wu himself, a female nindroid and also, a few other pictures. She looked back to ask Master Wu,"Uh, Master. Hate to interrupt your friendship moment, but who are they?".
That's when the whole family headed to look at the picture.
"Hmm. Well, I'm glad you asked", said Wu smiling as he introduced them to Kai, Jay, Zane, Cole, Lloyd, Nya, P.I.X.A.L. and others who were in the pictures.
As they talked about stuff, Kira stared at the one named Cole. She has been looking for a perfect guy for a very long time. Now, she wished she could stay in Ninjago because she finally found one. Same goes with Kayrah as she falls in love with the one named Lloyd.
"Uh, hello? Earth to Kira. Earth to Kayrah. Earth to sisters. We have some people to meet", said Raphael waving his hand in front of them.
"Oh, right", they said at the same time being brought back to reality. That's when they turned to see the female nindroid wearing a Samurai X suit. Master Wu introduced them to P.I.X.A.L., who's Zane's love interest.
"It's an honor to meet you guys", said P.I.X.A.L.
"Same here, P.I.X.A.L.", said Kira as she smiled.
After a little conversation, that's when they said goodbye to each other and headed back to Heroville. After that, that's when Kira made a final thought in her head, I wish I could stay and get to meet Cole in person, my very first crush, but I can't because of this new law. I finally found a perfect guy like him and I hope he likes me back.
End of Flashback
"And that's how it happened", concluded Kira,"But since I've heard that you already have a relationship, we should just consider ourselves as close friends".
Cole was left speechless as he heard the story about how she developed a secret crush on him. A few moments later, he said,"We are hanging out! I mean, I feel like we're dating".
Kira's eyes widened shocked as she heard his words,"Really?".
"Yup", he said as they continue to eat each slice of cake.
Those two learned that they're perfect for each other!
