Their sun (Fruits basket Akito, Kyo, Yuki and Haru love story)

Lunch

Azzy had finished her soap in a few minutes as she was starving. She laid back in the bed and stared at the ceiling.

'I wonder what everyone else is doing' she thought. She knew they were all downstairs having lunch.

'Maybe I could go down and sit with them. I haven't said hello to Shirgure yet' she said in her head as she got up. She was still a little weak in the legs but she could manage. She headed down the stairs and to the living room. She opened the door to see the others all sitting and eating.

"Sorry but is it ok if I sit with you?" She asked as all heads snapped in her direction. Instantly Yuki, Kyo and Haru were on their feet and at her side.

"Sweetheart you should be resting" Yuki said as he held on to her hand.

"The damn rat is right, you are still weak" Kyo agreed. Haru just nodded.

"I know but I was lonely and I haven't even seen Shirgure yet, and if I'm here then if something happens you will be with me to help" she reasoned. The boys know there was no changing her mind.

"Fine but the moment you feel sleepy you are going back to bed" Kyo said.

"Yes sir" she said with a mock salute.

The boys moved back to their places and allowed Azzy to hug Shirgure.

"Its been so long" Azzy said as she wrapped her arms around his neck. Shirgure wrapped his arms around her body.

"Indeed and you still have the boys wrapped around your finger" she giggled at that.

"Azzy come sit" Yuki said as he patted the seat next to him. She did as he said.

"Is there anything I can get you Azzy?" She heard Torhu ask.

"No thank you, the soup was enough. You are a very good cook" Azzy complimented her.

"Oh I wouldn't say that but thank you. Is it ok if I ask you a question? You don't have to answer if you feel uncomfortable"

"Ask way Torhu" Azzy said as she leaned on Yuki, who wrapped his arm around her.

"Ok. I was just wondering how it is possible that you are able to hug them and them not turn into animals? Are you part of the Zodiac too?" Torhu asked with a spark in her eyes.

"I'm not part of the Zodiac but I am aware of the curse. It is a mystery to us as to why I'm the only outsider that can hug the boys and them not turn. As I'm sure Haru told you I was found by Hatori, I have no memory of my family or my last name. When I woke up and Hatori and Akito explained everything, they told me I would be staying with them and Hatori would adopt me. I was so happy that I jumped in to his arms and hugged him and he didn't turn. I hugged Yuki and Haru and the same thing happened" Azzy explained.

" Wow that is amazing. I'm so sorry about your family" Torhu said as she had tears in her eyes. Yuki had told her that Torhu had lost her mother about a year ago. This must hit the poor girl hard.

"Thank you, I do wish that I had known them but I have had the Sohma's by my side and I wouldn't change it. I'm grateful for them taking me in and, not that I would, but if I ever choose to leave them, I would be given everything I would want to make me happy" Azzy felt Yuki tighten his arm around her. The boys hated the idea of her leaving.

"Is it ok if I ask one more question?"

"Of course"

"Ummm. What about Kagura?" Azzy looked at her confused then remembered that Torhu had meet the her before.

"Oh yes. Well it is no secret that she loves Kyo and would beat anyone up that would stand in her way, but she and i have been friends since i got there and she understands that Kyo and I are very happy and i suppose if anything happens between Kyo and i she would be there to make sure he is ok"

"Like that would ever happen" Azzy heard Kyo whisper under his breath.

"Torhu I really hope we can be friends" Azzy said as she looked at the brunette with kind eyes.

"I would like that" Torhu said as she smiled back at Azzy.

"Ok enough with all the sappy love, you need to rest" Kyo said as he got up and picked Azzy up and set her on her feet then grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the room. Azzy had enough time to turn back and wave goodbye.

"Kyo, I feel fine" Azzy tried to reason with him as they got to Yuki's room and Kyo laid her down on the bed.

"I know, but I haven't seen you in months, I just want you to myself for awhile" He said as he looked down at her with complete adoration.

"Ok" she said as their lips made contact for the first time in months and it felt so good.
