Chapter 24

I threw my self on my newly formed bed as a wave of exhaustion washed over me. I rolled onto my back and pulled my wings and halo into me and stared at my star-speckled ceiling. Lately, I found my self drawn more and more to space and stars, and I'm not sure why maybe it's my mind adjusting to my new body now that I'm not overwhelmed with as much. I flexed my hands and then my arms and noticed how different I felt. My arms felt lighter and airier. My fingers cut through the air with ease, and whenever I walked, I found my self hovering for a split second when I took a step.

I sat up from my bed and gazed at the walls. They were, thankfully, standard metal walls that had two square boxes that emitted a faint purple light. That was another thing I found my self more attracted to. The color purple just felt more and more relaxing the longer I stared at it.

I glanced down and stared wistfully at my bed. Because of my tireless trait, I have had no reason to sleep. The concept started to seem more and more alien to me, though now I can get a lot more done then when I was human.

After I got back from the guild HQ, I decided to take a few days off and process everything that has happened. I know I didn't quite have the time that I would like, but hopefully, these few days would help me clear my mind and get my priorities straight.

I stood up, and my feet hit the floor. I stood there for a moment and closed my eyes and just felt the room around me. I felt energy swirl and dance around me at random. Some seemed to grow and then fade out of existence, while others just seemed to pass through a vale. This was all due to me taking the trans-dimensional domain and the oblivion domain.

I started to see the universe in a slightly different light, though I can't say I have grown any stronger. I still had around forty-five stat points to my name that I haven't placed yet. Thankfully Helios reassured me that I would still be magnitudes stronger than my races, so I don't have too much to worry about at the moment.

I decided to lay back down on my fluffy bed and pull up my new screen.

Passives:

Reduces cost of Oblivion related skills by 10%

Reduces negative effects of Oblivion related status effects by 30%

Grants a basic level of Oblivion manipulation, increasing your tolerance of Oblivion related corruption. (Scales with deity level)

*Due to your domain and path being the same, they have been merged into one. However, a path slot will still be locked.

Skills:

Devour (I)- Consumes lowest tier life force and mana force.

Negation (I)- Passive- Negates the lowest tier of magical force.

Bolt- Fires a small bolt of Oblivion at a target. Has a (3)% chance to inflict the corruption debuff on a target.

*Corruption debuff is a stacking D.O.T effect, and a 100 percent status effect mutates the afflicted target into a spawn Oblivion.
