after my photoshoot i got my mom to drop me off at dunkin since i was too lazy to get my car and drive back. i walked in and bryce waved me over. i was smiling but he wasn't.
"hey bryce!" i said cheerfully with a smile. he shrugged, making my smile go away. "are you okay?"
"addison, we need to talk." bryce said, without making eye contact. he glared at his drink.
"about what, bryce? you know i'm always here for you." i said, trying to make eye contact.
"we need to talk about us. addison, you're a very busy person, and so am i. you're a successful model in the hype house. you have an entire career of modeling ahead of you. but, i am a party animal in the sway house. we don't fit together anymore like we used to. i'm sorry addi, but i think we should just be friends."
friends. the word hit me like a knife. my eyes stung with tears. i just nodded, and excused myself to the bathroom. i cried in the bathroom and called dixie to pick me up and take me to the hype house.
"dix, bryce just broke up with me. right after he hyped me up on my instagram post. right after he told me he loved me and he thinks we're soulmates. i can't be here." i cried to dixie, hoping the pain would go away.
"addison, i'm on the way. i'll be there in 10 minutes." she replied. i ended the call and got on twitter.
