i promised. i had to keep it. bryce means the world to me. i told him i loved him. he said it back. maybe we will get back one day. i hope we get back eventually.

i texted josh first.

i paid for half of bryce's bail. i love him. so much.

bryce pov 

i feel bad. i hurt addi, again. i love her more than anything. she was my world, and now i have no world. i have nothing besides a disgraceful past. i've got to make a move on addi, or i might lose her forever.

[narrator pov]

addison rae was getting ready to go to the sway house. the only person she wanted to see was bryce. and mads and nessa of course, it's been a minute since she's seen them  and she misses them. but she really misses bryce. misses cuddling with him and kissing him, just misses him in general. she wants to hold him, but she feels he has already moved on. i mean, he has plenty of girls to hangout with.

bryce hall had a special nickname for addison. he called her addi. it made him feel special to her. he didn't care if they were dating, she was his everything. he still wonders why he cut things off...

bryce looked in the driveway and saw addison's white jeep with the cute fruits painted on the side (shoutout zhc) he was so excited. he hid in his room to pretend to be chill. to pretend he didn't sit by the window for 30 minutes to wait for her.

[addison pov]

i walked into the sway house and saw nessa and josh sitting on the couch. nessa saw me and ran over to hug me.

"OMG hey addison!" i smiled at her.

"hey nessa, hey josh!" i smiled to the couple. they're lucky, they'll be together forever.

"do you guys know where mads or bryce is?" i asked, trying to make it not as obvious i wanted to see him.

"uh i think they're upstairs. buddy trying to pretend he wasn't waiting for you." josh said, making me laugh.

i walked up the stairs and mads ran over and gave me a hug. the sway girls are the sweetest!

"hey addison, long time no see!" mads smiled at me. i returned the favor and went towards bryce's room.

i knocked, obviously. he opened the door and smiled, and told me to come in.

"bryce.." i smiled and made eye contact.

he pushed the door shut gently and grabbed my hands.

"addi.. i missed you so much it's insane." he responded, he looked so happy, and i couldn't stop smiling.

he looked me in the eyes, we leaned in, and...

a/n: sorry for the cliff hanger and not posting yesterday, but i kept refreshing tiktokroom for thee drama lol. it was intense. but i'll post again tomorrow if there isn't another big situation.
