"The ride was awesome!!!!" I exclaimed."When we were at that loop I thought I was going to die. All I could think about was the scene in 'Final Destination 3'. It was scary!!! But then again, it was awesome. God!!! If there weren't so many other rides I wanna try I would go there again!!" I said or practically yelled. And he just smile at me amused by my reaction of the ride. He clearly enjoyed at, it shows on his face. We walk towards the Hunted house. It looked okay from the outside, not too scary.
Aarsh brought the tickets as I waited by the entrance and then we went in. It was pitch black inside, nothing was visible so instinctively I grabbed Aarsh's arm. We started to walk holding our free hands out trying not to get hit by something. Our eyes got adjusted to the darkness and things became more clearer.
**End of flashback**
After the horror house we went to other rides. I also wanted to go on the Ferris wheel but we didn't have much time and the line was too long. So, we decided to end our day at an Indian restaurant.
It's already 8 PM according to the Indian standard time and the sky is pitch black. The restaurant is decent and neatly lit. The owners are a couple in there 60's, we met them when we came in. Many of the people here are also in their late years, probably friends of the owner. As our food was served karaoke also started and people started to sing. As most of the people are elderly Indian, most of the songs played were also old.
-Chehra hai ya chand khila hai.
-Jab pyaar kiya to darna kya.
-Ek ladki bheegi bhaagi si.
As much as I love listening to English, Korean or Thai songs, but nothing can compare to old Hindi songs. Whether it is a old Bollywood song or a gazal or anything, they have a different kind of emotion in it. It just touches your heart. Then suddenly the last singer came up to us and started to pull Aarsh towards the small stage.
"No, no, uncle please. I can't sing." Aarsh said trying to pray his hand away.
"There's nothing like ' can't sing'. Stand up." The old uncle said and I also sided with him.
" Exactly uncle! Aarsh there's nothing like ' can't sing'. And are you going to make all these people wait? See uncle is standing for so long for you. His leg will hurt because of you." I said with a smirk and Aarsh glared at me but that only made me smirk more. " Go Aarsh. You shouldn't argue with elders."
" See, your wife is smarter then you." The uncle said and my smirk is replaced with a blush. 'Wife' though I'm not his wife yet but in less then a month I will be. I looked at Aarsh and his expression showed that he was probably thinking the same thing. We are soon going to be called a couple, a married couple.
The uncle took him and then he talked to the musicians that was pretty young, probably choosing the song. At first the uncle left after leaving Aarsh at the stage but then he came back and said something and then Aarsh gave a brief glance, turning back he nodded and stood in the middle of the stage mic. The song started after a few seconds I knew which it was. A song that I used to listen at some point.
Pal, Do Pal, Ki Hi Kyun Hai Zindagi
Iss, Pyar, Ko Hai Sadiyaan Kaafi NahiAarsh sang with his eyes closed. I have never heard him sing. I never thought he would have such a melodious voice, with a hint of sadness.
Toh Khuda Se Maang Lun
Mohalat Main Ik Nayi
Rehna Hai Bas Yahaan
Ab Door Tujhse Jaana NahiIt is clearly visible that he is singing with his heart. Although I'm not sure if it for me or his Ex, probably the later.
