My phone vibrated, waking me up. "Huh?" I wondered, picking up my phone.

It was from a random number, wrong number maybe?

Hey, uhm, just wondering, who is this?

Oh, it's Vincent, sorry Akemi :/

Ha, its okay, so... This your plan? Text me at 4 in the morning?

Lol. No, not originally,  I'm just really bored

Well, sleep then... Your so weird XD

Haha, then you sleep, you didn't have to respond.

Kinda did, I wouldn't be able to sleep if I didn't.

He never responded, I put my phone back down and went to sleep. I had a dreamless night, which wasn't unusual, lately I hadn't had any dreams. I guess it just happens sometimes, and it was happening to me. I some again at ten, I grabbed my phone and decided to text Vincent.

I didn't,  had too much on my mind :/

Its not really important, just stuff bothering me.

He didn't respond,I shoved my phone in my pocket and walked down stairs, mom was still home. "Mom, why are ye still 'ere? Are ye sick?" I asked, rushing over to the couch. "Uh, no sweetheart..." She said,  I could tell she was crying," some kids went missing at the restaurant. There's cops checking to make sure no one...". She began to choke up before crying again. "Mom, it's okay", I said, trying to comfort her. I sat next to her on the couch, she wiped her eyes. "Let's talk about something else, how are you and Gold?" My body froze and I began to tear up, I looked at the ground. "Grea' mom, we're ju' grea'...." I said, she rubbed my back.

"What's wrong?" She asked, I sobbed and wrapped my arms around her in a hug. "He calle' me a whore an' a pirate wanna-be mom! The lad didn't even feel bad abo' it!" I sobbed, she ran her fingers through my hair trying to comfort me. "I'm going to beat that boy", mom muttered, I shook my head. "I already slapped him", I said, did my accent just drop? "Did you just say that without your accent?" Mom asked, I nodded my head. "I didn't mean to, it just happened, I've been working on trying to get rid of my accent." I said, it happened again, mom just nodded her head. "So, do you know why Gold called you those things?" She asked, curiosity getting the best of her.

"Another lad talked to me, aye gave 'im me number, n' Gold found out." I said, my accent coming back, mom nodded her head. "You like him?" She asked, I shrugged my shoulders. "He's kinda cute... but aye don't know 'im well enough." I responded, she nodded her head. My phone rang, I pulled it out of my pocket and answered it.

"Hello?"I asked into the phone, mom gave me a curious look. "Hey Akemi, it's Vincent", he responsed, I accidentally let out a sob, oops. "Akemi, what's wrong?" He asked, his voice was serious. "I'll tell you another time.... If I feel up to it", I said, mom mouthed 'who is it?' 'Vincent' I responded, she nodded her head. "Okay, well, even though I know it's cold outside. You wanna go to the park? There is one about a five minute walk near the Pizzaria." Vincent asked. "I'd have to ask my mom..." I said, I looked at mom." Mom, can I go to the park with Vincent?" "Oh, sure... You know it might snow today right?" "Yeah, we know", I said, I positioned the phone back to where I could talk through it. "I can come", I said, Vincent nervously laughed. "Awesome, uh, meet you there at eleven?" "Sure, bye",  I hung up, well I guess I'm going to the park.

I walked upstairs, I grabbed a pair of jeans and a Black Butler shirt. I took my clothes to the bathroom for me to change.

I stood outside the Pizzaria, there were cops outside the building, it upsetted me. I pulled my phone out of my jacket pocket, it was eleven o' three, he's late. "Akemi! I'm sorry I'm... Why are there cops?" He asked suddenly, even though he was trying not to care, he looked worried. "I'll explain later", I said, remembering I had to not use my accent around him. "Okay, let's get to the park, c'mon", he grabbed my jacket sleeve and dragged me to the park.

"Sorry, i-i get nervous around cops, my family had a bad past with that." He apologised. "Its okay Vincent, no need to apologise", I said, he nodded his head. "So... Why were you crying earlier? You sobbed into the phone, everything all right?" He asked, I looked at the ground and nodded my head. He put a hand on my shoulder, I looked up at him. "You can tell me Akemi, I'll understand." He said, I bit my bottom lip to try and not cry. "I-i..." I couldn't manage words, tears start to swell in my eyes. Vincent hugged me, I didn't hug back, but I cried into his shoulder. "My boyfriend called me a whore, we got in a fight, he called me several makes that bullies use to call me." I sobbed into his shoulder, he rubbed my back, I didn't want to tell him everything.

"Its okay Akemi", he said, I pulled out of his grip and looked at him. "You think so?" I asked, he nodded his head. "If he wants to be a dick about the whole thing, then he doesn't deserve you", he said, wiping away a tear from my cheek. I want sure how to feel about the whole thing, it was awkward, but a little romantic at the same time.
