Chapter 23

Jungkook opened his eyes when he felt the warmth on his face. It's morning already. He looked to his side and noticed the empty space beside him where even pillows still look very tidy then he realized that Taehyung was not sleeping beside him last night. He felt that maybe he was too harsh last night. But, he really could not stand to see the closeness between Taehyung and his assistant especially after he knew that they both were really close before. To what extend their relationship has gone before he did not know for sure but he wanted none of that anymore. Jungkook sighed. Slowly he got up and walked to the bathroom and had a shower.

After a good thirty minutes later, Jungkook walked out his room and could smell the nice aroma and knew it was coming from the kitchen. Jungkook made his way to the kitchen and then he saw Taehyung was focusing on his cooking that he still did not noticed the other man. Jungkook coughed a little to make the other man known of his presence. It worked when Taehyung turned around and looked at him. Jungkook looked at Taehyung's face and notice the puffy red eyes. Jungkook could not help to think that he was crying last night. He felt guilty but he did not know how to say he was sorry. He knows how to but not to Taehyung. It was like the word stuck in his throat.

"Yo-u wan-t breakf-ast?" Jungkook looked at Taehyung who was looking at him. Taehyung was stuttering and Jungkook knew it was because he was scared of him. He nodded. Taehyung turned back to his almost done cooking. Jungkook walked to the table and took a seat at the head of the table. Taehyung was done with his cooking and brought his dish after plating it. He took Jungkook's plate and filled his with the fresh made fried rice. Then he put it in front of Jungkook.

Jungkook looked at his plate and started pick up the spoon. He was about to eat when he saw Taehyung was about to leave the kitchen.

"Where are you going?" He asked. Taehyung stopped and turned to face Jungkook.

"I ha-ve another th-ings to do.." He replied slowly.

"Don't you eat your breakfast first?" Jungkook asked.

"I will la-ter.. I want to fi-nish othe-r chores fi-rst"

"No. Come sit here. Eat first and then you can do whatever it is that you need to do.." Jungkook ordered.

"No it-s Ok-ay....." But Taehyung stopped when he looked at Jungkook who was now staring at him. he gulped and nodded. He walked to the table and sits one seat away from Jungkook. He scooped a spoon of friend rice to his plate and started to eat quietly. Jungkook looked at Taehyung while eating. He saw how Taehyung was scared of him and saw that Taehyung was slightly pouting and frowning a little. 'Is he being stubborn? He must be protesting a lot in his mind but because he is scared he kept it in.. Sorry Taehyung for what happened last night.. Maybe after a while you will feel more comfortable with me and not scared of me like right now..' he thought.

"Do you want to go and meet Yeonjun and Soobin later? Its weekend and they should be at home..." Jungkook said not looking at Taehyung still eating his food. Taehyung looked at Jungkook. He was missing both his brothers so he was glad that Jungkook want to take him to go and meet the Youngers. Jungkook looked at Taehyung when he heard no answer from the man. Taehyung then realized that Jungkook was waiting for his answer and he quickly nodded.
