Actions are like a lost child, occasionally, they go unnoticed; Karma is like a stalker, once gained, it will take the power of many to combat.

"So you see him too?"

The butterfly perched on her finger took flight. It flapped its wings as she flipped over her hand. Gracefully, it returned to her palm and rested there. In an instant it was crushed within her grasp; she grounded her fingers, leaving Jungkook to gaze at the small black specks that trickled down her fist. She playfully signaled him to lean down to her line of sight. Jungkook cocked a brow at her confidence. In an attempt to let her wrist go he pushed up her sleeve. His eyes slightly widened at the shape of the scarred tissue beneath.

The mark of a demon tamer was burned into her forearm. It boldly sat there for him to see; a skull with horns that was pierced by a flaming sword was formed by discolored skin. The sight of it made Jungkook's blood curdle and hate he had long forgotten threatened to rise to the surface. The enslavers of demons were all they had to their name. They used the souls of demons to gain power and sold them like jewels to those that fed off of their own. Most can't identify them, as there were few demons that survived an encounter. If they did, they kept a low profile and strayed from attention. The lines of Jungkook's jowl penciled in with the clench of his jaw as he walked away. He hated the way he was born. He would starve himself and only feed when he needed to, and even then, he felt guilty. The group was only a reminder that he was unwanted. Jungkook ate to survive, not to gain power. His steps slowly picked up the pace the farther he got.

"Come here, grumpy bunny," Jungkook's sneakers scuffed the tiled floor. Inch by inch a demanding power gripped over his limbs. His steps became harder to take; it felt like he was walking through course mud and was being held back by resistance bands. Every muscle was tearing to push away from being swallowed. Each passing second felt like a losing battle. His dilated pupils pushed back the brown in his iris'. They emptily looked into the distance; unfocused and vacant. With a large grunt, he forcefully stood upright. Like a programmed soldier, he turned to the demon tamer. With jammed joints, he stiffly marched to the dainty figure's side; Jungkook's trapped will was swept into his subconsciousness.

The rustling of his clothes could be heard as he bent over. She pulled the hair tie from the back of his head and let his bangs fall to his forehead.

"Much better. Guess I've got to cover this burdensome marking up," her eyes shifted to a navy blue; they were as dark as a night's ocean in the grasps of the moon's light. Her hand brushed the straggled pieces of Jungkook's hair into place. In a swift movement, her fingers danced across his cheekbone, down his neck, across his collarbone, and rested on his shoulder. She leaned forward and spoke into his ear.

"With such prowess, I thought you'd put up a better fight," she leaned back to face the demon. With soul-piercing red eyes, Jungkook's arms and legs were twitching as he pushed his body to its limit; A crooked smile was plastered on her face.

"Yes, resist. I knew you'd entertain me," Jungkook's head turned a fraction of an inch. His determination amused the demon tamer. He was now dripping in sweat and taking shorter breaths. The more he rejected her control the more painful it became. When his head dangled in exhaustion, drops of sweat smacked the floor beneath them.

"Now my sweet bunny, hand," like a reluctant puppy he abided. His larger palm seemed to engulf her smaller one. She brushed her thumb along the letters of his tattoos. The feinted hue popped against his pink knuckles. The demon tamer seemed dissatisfied by her victory; Jungkook was hunched over, motionless, beside the pint-sized demon but it wasn't enough. She looked up at Jungkook as an idea crossed her mind. Thin, dainty, fingers tightly engulfed a chunk of Jungkook's top and pulled him closer.
