Harry stood staring at his Godfather and Remus, a pretend glare in his eyes. "You lied to me Padfoot, i expected more from you Mooney" Sirius smiled at his godson "Harry m'boy we wanted to surprise you, plus its not lying, it's withholding the truth" he winked at McGonagall who stood shaking her head. Harry smiled and hugged Sirius. "So exactly what are you teaching Sirius?" Hermione asked after hugging Remus and Sirius. "Well Mooney is obviously taking up the non cursed roll of DADA teacher, my favourite cousin Tonks" Draco smirked and raised his eyebrow "why thank you cousin I'm feeling the love" Sirius growled "so what are you doing here Malfoy, any little ferrets running around" Remus snickered "Actually cousin, we all got chatting on the train, apologies here and there, shaking of the hand, flirting" Draco winked at Sirius, Sirius looked round at the rest of the teenagers who all nodded "so who was he flirting with? Ron?" Rons face started turning bright red "as if he could handle me cousin, you should know about charm, mother says i get it from the Black side" Sirius laughed so loud it got attention from students who were still leaving. "I like you Draco, how is your dear mother? Would ask about your aunt but i hear Molly keeps her in a jar" Draco stared at him wide eyed "well Sirius ive heard about your sense of humour but my god its dark, and Mrs Weasley can keep my crazy aunt if she wants, me nor Mother were to fond of her" Draco smile "father on the other hand wished it was him that finished her off" Sirius put his arm round Draco and pulled him away from the others who were all discussing among them self what Tonks could possibly teach at the school, most of them forgetting that her Husband was standing right in front of them eating the largest bar of chocolate.

As Sirius pulled Draco away it made Draco feel really uneasy. "Now I know your curios to why i pulled you away Draco, but i thought as a family member here at Hogwarts my office is going to always be open to you. You are young, know one blames you for what happened in the war, if we were all in the same situation we would have all done the same" Draco shook his head "you seem to forget cousin your from the Nobel house of Black, you got out, you went against your family, i done the cowardly thing and stayed with them until the very end, the full war i knew it was wrong but I didn't get out till the end, I'm a coward and always be a coward" it was Sirius's turn to shake his head "Draco, i had people, i had Remus and James and much to my dismay and not wanting to admit it but i also had Peter, but the biggest push for me was one Christmas, the Blacks do Christmas big as you've probably seen" Sirius sat down and patted the seat beside him for Draco to sit "it was the last Christmas i spend with 'family' i was in my room and your mother came in crying, i had never seen her cry so much, she sat on my bed and put her head in her hands and sobbed" Draco looked at his cousin in confusion "she was speaking but i hardly knew what she was saying, i calmed her down and got her to tell me why she was so upset, she went on to tell me how our mothers were planning our futures, how she was going to be the perfect little bride for Malfoy" Draco could feel his mouth dropping "my mother didn't want to marry my father??" Sirius shook his head "eventually she did, but at first no she didn't, she was so upset that her future was getting planned for her, i asked her who my bride was ament to be and she shook her head at me, she told me that hers was set in stone but mines wasn't, apparently not many people wanted to marry the defect Black who was in Gryffindor, you mother cried, but i knew this time it wasnt because of your father, she was worried about me, she told me to promise if my mother started on me again that i would run, she said she would never ever blame me for anything that happened after, she went on to tell me that if one of us could get out of the pure blood ways that she was glad it to be me, it wasnt two hours later while your mother was still there that my mother started on me, this time she had my father on me to, both of them beating the filth out of me, i pushed them away grabbed your mother and locked the room they were all in, your mother told me that she was fine and that i had to leave, told me to never look back and that when this was all over we could be a family again" Draco smiled "you know my mother told me stories of the brave Black when i was little, she would put me to bed and tell me these stories, but she told me that they were only Black stories and because Father wasn't a Black he wasn't aloud to know them" Sirius smiled "I might send my dear cousin a letter" he took Draco's hand and could feel Draco tighten up, obviously not accustom to having affection being shown "always remember Draco that i am here for you, as a family member and a massive pain in the arse" Draco chuckled "you can say that again cousin" Draco looked up and the feminine voice coming towards them and smiled as he felt more at home at Hogwarts
