McGonagall stood up after dinner and cleared her throat "well i don't know about you but that was a great, thank you to our House Elves who created this lovely meal" people started clapping "okay okay now onto business i would like to announce that this here table" pointing to the Table Hermione and everyone were sitting at "this table has your prefects and Head girl and boy within it" people gasped as they looked who was sitting at the table. "Can you all stand please" one by one they all stood "now when i call your name you can sit, our prefects are, Neville, Luna, Harry, Ron and Ginny" they all looked at each other and smiled "Seamus, Dean, Cho, Hannah, Blaise and Theodore" one by one there names were called they sat down. "Lavender and Pansy when she comes back" Lavender smiled and winked at Ron as she sat down, the only two standing were Draco and Hermione who stood smiling at each other. "So those thirteen are your prefects, now before i hear people complain that most of them are Gryffindors like Ms Parkinson pointed out these people are the most fitting for the job" she looked around the hall to see if anyone would disagree "now onto these two, Mr Draco Malloy and Miss Hermione Granger are two of our brightest students" you could hear people scoffing, Draco rolled his eyes making Hermione giggle "these students weather you like it or not are in fact the brightest students and I couldn't think of anyone else more up for and willing to perform this task at this great standard" Hermione looked at the head mistress confusion wasn't the word she was feeling at the moment "these two students are our Head Boy and Head Girl" Hermione smiled at the table around her and back at the head mistress. They both sat down. "Harry, I'm head girl" Hermione called over to her best friend "i heard Hermione well done, I'm proud of you, you deserve it" Draco coughed beside Hermione, raising an eyebrow at Harry "what about me then Harry, did you hear I'm head boy" he laughed as Harry pulled a face "watch it Harry your face might stick like that" said Ginny as she pecked a kiss on his cheek "well done Draco" Harry smiled and raised his glass to Draco, and Draco returned the action. The table continued the conversation everyone talking to everyone like they had been friends all these years. Hermione smiled "all is good" Draco squeezed her hand and said "all is well"
