harry

"mum, what if they don't like me? what if they laugh? what if they think my hair is too curly? what if they don't think i can sing? what if-" harry styles was cut off by his mother. "harry, they're going to love you. you're going to go out there and knock their socks off. you have the voice of an angel, how could they not like you?"

anne styles had always been very proud of her son. she knew he had talent, that's why she suggested he audition for "the x factor". harry was a little hesitant at first, but he quickly came around. he knew that this one little audition could change his life, it was a small chance, but still. "thanks, mum," harry said, "let's go get in line so i can get my audition number."

harry and his mum eventually got to the front of the line. "name, please?" the blonde lady sitting at the check in table asked. "harry styles," he responded. "styles, styles.. ah, yes, harry, here you are, dear." she handed him his long sticker with his audition number printed on it. 165998.

"thank you, ma'am," he said with a bright smile. he and his mum walked towards the waiting area to sit down. "mum, i think i'm gonna run to the loo real quick, be back in a minute," harry told his mother. "i'll be here, sweetie," she sighed, watching her soon-to-be-famous son walk away towards the restroom.

louis

"oh, my god. oh, my god. oh, my fuc-" "louis! watch your mouth, the girls are right here," louis tomlinson's mum, johanna tomlinson, exclaimed. "sorry, mum. i'm just nervous. waiting in this bloody line doesn't help things, i just want to get up there and do my audition so we can get out of here."

"lou, you're going to do brilliant," his little sister, lottie, assured him. his other sisters, daisy, phoebe, and fizzy all shook their heads in agreement. "thanks, girls. i just want to make sure i smash this." he wiped his sweaty palms on his blue jeans as they moved up a spot in line.

soon enough, it was louis' turn to receive his audition number. he confidently walked towards one of the ladies at the check in table. "hello, my name is louis william tomlinson, and i'm here to receive my audition sticker number thing, please and thank you," he said quickly. she laughed quietly, shaking her head. "tomlinson, tomlinson, tomlins.. mr. tomlinson, here you are, best of luck today," she told him, handing him his number. 155204.

"thanks, goodbye," he smiled and waved, turning around to collect his mother and sisters. "alright girls, let's go on in to wait," he suggested. his mother stopped him before he could get too far. "louis, stop it, dear, come here, let me get your picture!" she said quite loudly. "mum..." louis groaned. he always pretended he hated it when his mum took pictures, but he secretly loved the attention.

he turned around, posed, and put on a huge grin for the picture, holding his audition sticker up. "just lovely, lou. you look so handsome!" his mother went on and on about how wonderful she was sure he would be during the audition the whole walk to the waiting area. "yes mum, fantastic, thanks, gonna run to the loo, be back in a second," he told her before running off.
