Y/N POV

"Y/n! Breakfast is ready!" The sound of my mother's loud voice busted through my ears, completely pushing me out of my deep sleep. My eyes opened, but not to fast that the bright, yellow light would blind me.
I sat up on my creaky bed, seeing as I was still in the clothes from the night before. I caught a whiff of my body odor, almost immediately scrunching my face up in disgusted at the smell of me. Sitting in plane, then a car for hours definitely did a toll on my smell.
I got up from my bed and made my way over to the many boxes that littered my small room. After searching for a few, I finally came across the box that read 'clothes'. Opening it up, I was greeted by a messy pile of t-shirts. Behind the box, was a few more that were filled with my LA clothes, shoes and accessories. Within a few minutes, I had laid out my outfit for the day and went over to the hallway and into the bathroom where I'd finally be able to get rid of the horrible smells my body had produced.
Once I was done getting ready for the day, I left the bathroom and went into the kitchen. My parents were cooking breakfast, and my two sisters were at the table, both on their phones.

"Libby, Stella no phones at the table" Mom spoke as I took a seat next to Libby. They both groaned and rolled their eyes before turning their devices, face down on the table. Mom and dad then laid out the food --- bacon, eggs and fruit --- and a jug of orange juice.
We all ate quietly, no one dared to say a word. The tensions from the day before we still quite present in the Y/L/N household. The only sounds present being the noices of cutlery against plates, and glasses being placed on the wooden table.

"So are you girls excited for school?" Dad questioned after taking a sip of his morning coffee. I glanced at Libby, seeing as she only shrugged her shoulders, returning her attention back to the Strawberry on her fork. Dad look at me, waiting for my reply to his question. I gave him a tight smile. "Sure"
Stella scoffed at my simple answer. I turned to her, watching as she looked me with a smirk.
"Is there a problem, Stella?" I asked. My voice tinged with fake sweetness.
"No problem at all..." She trailed, putting down her fork. "It's just-, I'm pretty sure I recall you telling me how much you hated mom and dad for taking away from your little life in LA... strange how you can just change like that" "Well Stella, if you had a brain, you would know that I'm perfectly happy going to a new school... besides, why the hell are you here anyways? Your 20, shouldn't you be off somewhere else?" I spoke bitterly. The smirk dropped from Stella's face as she took hold of the fork, gripping it tightly.
"Y/n why do you have to be such a little bi-" "Oh look at the time! Girls you should probably get going if you want to get to school on time!" Mom exclaimed, attempting to stop the heated conversation between Stella and I.
I rolled my eyes before getting up from my chair, putting my bag over my shoulder and heading over to the front door, Libby following behind.
We both muttered a quick goodbye to our parents --- not Stella --- and closed the door behind us, and started our way out of the apartment complex and towards school. I was attending Midtown, while Libby was going to a near by middle school.

I walked down the street for around 10 minutes before finally arriving at my new school. The parking lot was already filled with many different cars --- and students making their way into the building.
I took a deep breath, fixing my hair and outfit before walking up the the big front doors.
As soon as I stepped in, I was immediately overwhelmed. Crowds upon crowds of people were gathered all around the hallways. Drones were flying everywhere and the sounds of students slamming the lockers were all I could focus on.
I shook my head, telling myself that there was no reason why I should be nervous. I was popular back on Los Angeles --- so there shouldn't be a reason as to why I couldn't be popular at this school. I mean, for only being in the school in a matter of seconds, I could tell that this school was filled with nerds and geeks. From my experience, nerds loved me -- now I know that sounds cocky, however when I started to strut down the busy hallway that led to the office, I couldn't help but smirk as students watched me with such awe. I was getting so much attention --- and I loved it.

Once I arrived to the office, I was greeted by a women with red curly hair with dark purple glasses and a black tattoo that covered a fraction of her neck --- it was in the shape of a butterfly. A smile immediately wiped over her face when I walked over to her desk, telling her that I was a new student at the school.
She pulled out my schedule and a map of the school, going through each lesson I had, and highlighting where the classrooms were located.
I nodded my head, thanking her as I reached for the papers and headed out the door to my first class --- history.

After many different twists and turns, I had finally ended up at my history class. The door was open, showing me that class hadn't officially started, however I knew there wasn't much time until the teacher would start the lesson for the day.
I entered the classroom, immediately noticing how everyone went silent, watching me as I walked over to the teachers desk, handing him my slip. He glanced at me and smiled before skimming over the yellow piece of paper I had given him.
"You can go sit between Ned and MJ, second row next to the window" He said, pointing at a boy and a girl. The boy, who I assumed was Ned, was looking at me, waving, while the girl gave me a short smile before turning back to her book.
"I'm Mr Cullen by the way" The teacher said. I thanked him, and headed to my seat. Everyone's eyes still followed me until I sat down, then they went back to their conversations before I entered the classroom.

"Hey you must be Y/n" The boy spoke suddenly. I smiled and nodded my head. "And you must be Ned" I responded. The boy nodded his head and looked across the table to the girl, signaling her with his head.
"Yup and that girl is MJ" I moved my head and looked at the girl, seeing as she was already looking at me. MJ muttered a 'sup' before once again turning back to her book.
"Ignore her" Spoke Ned. "So where'd you move from? Because I saw you walking down the hallway earlier and no way in hell does someone in this school dress like that" Ned looked me up and down, making a scowl appear on my face. This is exactly what I was afraid of --- people judging me, before they even know me. Ned saw this and immediately started to shake his head vigorously.
"Not to be mean or anything! Your outfit is to die for... it's just-" "You look like your from somewhere where it doesn't sting to breath in the air when it's winter" MJ interrupted. My scowl fell from my face as I realized what Ned was implying.
"Oh ya I'm from LA" I said like it was nothing, however Ned and MJ both seemed to think something different.
"LA?! Your from LA? Aw man I love Los Angeles -- never been there though, but I'd love to go. I heard it's amazing to visit, but imagine living there! Hey, do you know Kim Kardashian?!" Ned ranted. Confusion washed over me as chuckled, trying to comprehend what Ned had said.
"Umm... ya LA is pretty cool, but no I sadly don't know Kim Kardashian" Ned's face fell --- look of disappointment replaced his excitement at my words. "Well that sucks" He admitted. I chuckled. "Sorry to disappoint you" "Nah it's fine. You being from LA is more than enough conversation piece. Hey you should sit with us at lunch, my best friend Peter would love to meet you. He always goes on and on about wanting to go to LA" Ned said with a smile. I nodded my head in agreement. I felt a smile appear on my face, knowing that I had already made a friend... maybe this move wasn't going to be as bad as I anticipated.
