Draco was pacing the floor in our living room, almost making a hole in the carpet.

"Draco, love, would you please calm down?" I asked him, walking over and putting my hands on his shoulders.

"Calm down?" he asked me, looking incredulous. "Why would I calm down?! My father insulted my family, killed my mother, insulted you, and you're asking me to calm down?!"

"Yes," I said, taking his hand and leading him to the couch. "Your father will be out of your life tomorrow. You don't need to worry about anything."

"But I am worried," Draco said. "My father still has connections. He can send someone to tear us apart."

"We won't let that happen," I assured him.

Two days later we heard a banging on our door.

"Dani please open the door!" I heard a desperate voice shout. I opened it, and there stood my twin, panting and sweating.

"Harry? Why are you here?" I asked.

"You need to go into hiding," Harry said.

"What is going on?" Draco asked, walking into the room holding Lily in one arm and Scorpius in the other. I took Lily from him and looked to Harry for the answer.

"You need to go into hiding," Harry repeated.

"Why?" Draco asked.

"Someone is after you," Harry said.

"I knew this would happen!" Draco exclaimed. He looked furious. Scorpius started crying in his arms.

"Draco, calm down. We will do whatever we need to do in order to protect our family," I said. "Where do we need to go?"

"Preferably the USA," Harry said.

"Then we'll go there. Anything we can do to protect our family. When do we need to leave?" Draco asked. I looked at him, surprised. He was handling this better than I thought he would.

"Come to the ministry tomorrow morning at nine. We will have a portkey ready for you there," Harry said, then immediately apparated away. I walked inside and promptly began packing things. I shrunk every single one of our belongings down and stuffed it into one suitcase. A few minutes later, we heard more banging on our door. I opened it to find Ginny and Blaise with Zach standing on our doorstep.

"You're leaving?" Ginny asked, barging inside.

"Yes, we're not safe here," I said.

"Then we're coming with you," Ginny declared.

"Gin, we can't-" Blaise started, but Ginny cut him off.

"We can and we will, and if you tell me we can't one more time, dear husband of mine, so help me I will-" This time I cut Ginny off, for the sake of her poor husband.

"Gin, do you really think it's reasonable to just up and leave with us?" I asked. "What about your jobs, you can't just leave!"

"I was offered numerous Quidditch positions in America, I'm sure that they will take me. And For Blaise here, Potions masters are in high demand, I hear."

"Okay, what about your family?" I asked. "I know for sure that they wouldn't want you to leave."

"They'll live without me," Ginny said. I sighed, defeated. I didn't have any more excuses.

"Fine, you can come with us," I said. Ginny cheered and squeezed me tight.

"Is this okay with you, Blaise?" I asked him.

He shrugged. "Like I have a choice."

I snorted. That statement was very true.

"Draco?" I asked.

"I'm fine with it if you are," he said.

"Okay then! Be at the ministry at nine tomorrow morning to catch the portkey," I instructed.

"Everybody here?" Harry asked. It was nine the following morning and our departure had gathered quite the crowd. The Whole Weasley family was there, including spouses and children, Blaise's mother and current stepfather were there to see him off, and Harry and Cho were there.

We all nodded at Harry's question.

"Alright then. You have ten minutes to say your goodbyes. The Portkey will be here in fifteen minutes." With that, a frenzy of hugs and kisses started. First, I was swept into the arms of every single Weasley family member, including newly married members. Then, for some reason, Blaise's mother hugged me. Finally, after seven minutes, Harry was the only one left. I hugged him tightly.

"I'm going to miss you, Harry," I whispered.

"I'm going to miss you too. Promise you'll write?" he asked.

"Every day," I promised. "And promise you'll come to visit?"

"I promise." I held him tightly for a few more seconds before letting him go. The Portkey was supposed to be here in two minutes and I didn't want to miss it. When it appeared, I stepped forward and wrapped my hand around the handle of the umbrella. I looked around at the loving friends I was leaving behind and my eyes started tearing up. I buried my face in Draco's shoulder, trying to hide my tears. I felt the Portkey rattle, and I knew it would be leaving soon.

"Goodbye! I love you all!" I said, and with that, we were whisked off to start a new life in America.
