OPRY'S staging was Friday night and they all went down to support Brett big night the show was good as looking it to be and after he signed up a few autographs they all went to have a drink they have a late night before they part,
Saturday they were to meet at Taylor's but she suddenly change and they went to Stefanie instead,
Stefanie and Keith has a pair of kids a boy who was eleven months old and a four year old daughter who both Brett and Taylor were god parents to, Brett wasn't there when the boy was christening but Taylor was they both love the children for they always say loving the girl was preparing them for their daughter which they both wanted, Taylor watch him get fiscal with them both and remember they once had plans to have a daughter it was the choice but would accept it if they got a boy, she caught the boy as he came barely running from him to her, moving to how his little legs could carry him, she was about to pick him up but he ran back to Brett who lift him to his chest as they giggle, , she smooth the boy's hair before leaving and went in the kitchen to join with the others they were conversing about their male partner, talking of what they don't and do love about their man,
"The fact that my Rick don't actually snores it's ever cool sleeping next to him" Nicole said
"right Mel said that's the second best thing about Luke?"
"What's the first?" Ruth ask
"he's a great, a great lover"
"hoo!" The girls said
"I don't know what to say about Brett the fact that he holds back on love he doesn't really put his all into it, not saying it as if I'm complaining he's a great guy but I do think something his holding him back"
Stefanie look at Taylor who caught her eyes and turn away,
"You should probably ask what it is for I'm sure he's a excellent lover" Stefanie said
Ruth nod and giggle

Brett was at the door when he heard them talking he push the door but wait to step in,
"I think he needs a clean shave"
"Really?" Taylor ask "you would ask him to shave it all off?"
"yeah! I don't actually understand why men needs facial hair"
"Not when it fits him so perfect I actually think he's the cutest guy who sports facial hair" Taylor said and Stefanie look at her then to Brett who fully came in the door and Taylor acknowledge his presence and from the look he gave her he heard her complement she turn away
"I think these two need to be fed" he said
"I'll fix it" Taylor said seeing Stefanie hands were busy,
Brett wait with the two children until Taylor fix them some thing eatable, the thing he admire about her she was everything a lady should be she was affectionate if nothing else she was loving, a lot of loving,
they spent another hour together before they left Teddy drop Taylor to her place and ask to come in for a while, they were on the couch together when her phone peeps she took it up and Brett name was across the screen, she was going to ignore it but didn't want to if there was a chance of reconnecting she will happily jump on the train,
"He's still with you?" His text read, "if so you can always ignore this text" she ignores she didn't want to ignores but did so sitting there staring at the phone,
"Is everything ok?" Teddy ask
Taylor nod,
She rub her hand over her face and smirk at Teddy
"I'm not good company am I?"
"Not do much" he said with a smile, he was a cutie pie too but the love wasn't there she was sure she couldn't pretend love anymore and just wanted to make sure she didn't lead him into more than she was offering,
"I should get going anyway, it's actually late and I have to sail all the way across town"
"ok" Taylor nod she wasn't about to ask him to stay the night on her settee again for it's been four months and growing they hardly even share a good kiss, it was as if he understands he didn't pressed her and she appreciates it she got up and walk him to the door kiss him under his chin she watch him to the car before she goes back in he left the drive way Taylor didn't text Brett as she wanted to and just took a shower and got ready for bed,
It turns out to be a restless night for her that she couldn't wait for the clock to wake her getting up a head of it,
She went jogging like every Sunday morning come home took a shower then have food well breakfast for she just has a milkshake with water she call Hailey talk to her mom and dad then try to relax on her settee but nothing country on the television today could make sense to her she could only think Brett, breathe Brett, need Brett, but none of that was possible she drain herself thinking about him, it was a continuous restlessness through out Sunday she was glad she didn't have to step in the office no time on Monday and after the meeting with her client she went to see Stefanie she was home with the two children sitting in the living room,
Taylor tough that they were a lone but still she didn't bother to ask for Keith who was in the dinning room together, from there they could hear her voice,
"Is that Taylor?" Brett ask
"Sounds like it" Keith told him
"Long day?" Brett heard Stefanie ask
"More like restless night" Taylor brew and sat down
"What happened?"
"nothing really"
"Did Teddy spend the night?"
"Not completely"
"it's where he drop you off you drop him?"
He came in and sat stay for a while, where's Keith anyway she finally ask in order to cut the story,
They went in the kitchen and Taylor was surprised Brett was there
He look up once she walk in they met eyes Taylor smile a smile Brett live on her and miss
"Hi" she said
"What's up?" Keith ask as they hug with a cheek kiss,
"I'm here you, what's up with you today?"
"No complain here so how did the meeting go?"
"well, it went well, need a drink?"
"water will be good"
Keith hand her the water
She thank him,
He excuse himself going out the kitchen door,
Stefanie few minutes later follow him out leaving Taylor with Brett, he got up walk to where she stood at the counter, she side look him facing him as he came in front of her,
"What's up?" He ask
With a mouth full of water Taylor in response shook her head she look up at him for as she said before he towers over her a good hight for he was six feet six inches tall to her five feet three, it was either she went up to meet him or he came down she loved it either way he was so cuddly, his blue eyes were like the ocean and his earth coloured brown hair he was with his amazing look especially when he was being passionate,
He lean next to her wasn't sure of much to talk about but they share a small conversation trying to find out about the two years he miss away from her, "I miss you Taylor" he said Taylor look up at him but at the time couldn't find her strength to say I miss you too Brett,
Stefanie came back she with Keith Taylor grab her bag, "I'll see you guys at work tomorrow" she said never waiting for their response she left the door close and they both look at Brett
"I should get going myself" he said he walk to the kitchen and Keith and Stefanie look wide eyes at each other
Taylor was getting in a cap when he got out and as it drove off she say his car behind them he turn just on the highway as she was heading straight she sigh disappointed in herself she couldn't tell the man she loves that she loves him and miss him,
For the rest of week it was work, home talking with her sister who ask about Brett Everytime too many times too often but it's the closest she feels to him now sharing a conversation about him tickling her mind with those sweet memories, of him it was what she has now anyway and enjoy every minute of it. so she was taking it as it is roll with the punches
