#Chapter 2#

"What is your name sweetheart" he asked which i felt intoxicated by his voice when I responded without even realizing "my name is Chanel and don't call me sweetheart" I said in a serious tone as I turned to look at him, even thou I loved when he said sweetheart, seriously what's happening to me

"I do like the name Chanel" he said in a beam "why won't you, it's a nice name of course" I said in sarcasm while rolling my eyes at his flattery "feisty, I love it and by the way my name is Cole" he said with a smirk, OK is all I said as I turned to look at Jake, who was busy flirting with a girl not paying attention to the teacher, I just turned back to listen, so I could keep a good record not planning on starting school with a bad record,

After sometime the bell rang and I felt so relieved cause I was getting bored of the class, I stood up and took my bag to go with Jake as he started to do his stupid flirting and jokes with me when I heard a growl from someone, just to turn to see Cole looking so furious like he was about to kill someone, which just baffled me, then Jake just left the class like he was in a hurry, with the murderous stare I was getting from Cole, either for me or Jake. then he looked at me before calming down, wait does this guy have bipolar issues I asked myself as if getting an answer from him, I felt annoyed because Jake who would have helped me, just left the class like a coward "thank you very much, now I don't know my next class" I spoke in annoyance as I still kept admiring his body like it was one breathtaking masterpiece that I could not take my eyes from, maybe am being silly now "you're welcome, sweetheart" he said in his baritone voice and winked at me, 'ugh' I did kill him for calling me sweetheart again but if not because his handsome, I will let him be. then I realized I was the only one left in the class with my thoughts, I left the class to start the journey of looking for my next class knowing I did be late, after awhile of searching I found my next class, I felt I could escape without being seen by the teacher because she was kinda sleeping but I got caught, knowing my luck didn't last "why are you late" she asked, "I had some trouble finding my way" I said hoping she did understand and let me go cause am new "well, next time be quick and am letting you go cause your new" she spoke and allowed me to seat, the class passed by in a blur as other classes I had, it was time for lunch and I left class letting my nostrils lead me to the cafeteria which I can tell the food was nice from the way it smelled, so I got my food looking for where to seat when I saw Jake waving his hand to me to come and seat, where i got introduced to his friends who were Austin and his girlfriend Lucy but I don't think Austin talks much, I said hi and turned to Jake who was stuffing food in his mouth "Jake why did you leave me there with Cole, you know you were meant to help me with my next class" I asked as I started to eat my food, Jake just shrugged and said it was nothing, I just left him not wanting to dwell on the topic when i felt a presence next to me, I turned to look up when I saw someone who looked exactly like Cole as he said 'mine' which I did not understand what he meant, I started to marvel at his body as he wore a black shirt that hugged his body showing off his muscles, blue jeans trouser, dirty blonde hair that made his emerald green eyes shine with a hint of blue, strong and smooth jawline, high cheekbones and well built body that made him look so hot, I did say this school has a lot of good looking guys, I was still lost in my thoughts when I got snapped out of it when someone spoke "you enjoying the view" he said which made my face to turn red from embarrassment as I shifted for him to seat, not knowing what to say to defend myself. I had to start a conversation as I spoke "hi my name is Chanel" he just looked at me then took a seat as he said "my name is Caleb" I shifted for him as I was very close to Jake but as he looked at me then to Jake, he growled which puzzled me then Jake shifted from me immediately, as everyone in the cafeteria stared at us, then they all turned back to whatever they were doing, I just sat here feeling confused remembering what happened in class before, at that thought Cole had to show up, while taking a seat at my left side where James was as he said " I see you have met my twin Caleb" he said, "yes" I said at lost as I was still trying to puzzle things out to why the reaction, I later shrugged it off as Lucy took my schedule from my book, which was so fast that i wouldn't have noticed if not because the book was near me"hey" I said she looked at me and said "chill girl, am just checking if you will have the same class with me" then she let out a light squeal "we are having the same class after lunch and last period, we all be having the same class which is in the gym" Lucy spoke in excitement, "let me see" Cole said and snatched it away from Lucy as Lucy was making all her rampant noise with Cole, I asked Caleb if he wanted to check it out as to lighten the air between us "cant wait for surprises" he spoke not really paying attention, well i tried talking, after sometime the bell rang, Lucy just dragged me to the next class which went fast in a blur and the other classes, I went back home feeling happy and tired that it was not as hard as I have thought and at least I made new friends. I changed to a towel and showered for like twenty minutes, don't judge me i love having a nice bath, I got out to get my clothe when a large shirt caught my eye, seeing the shirt made me remember my past and my dad who died when I was small, in an airplane crash when coming back from whatever business trip he went to, just remembering brings tears to my eyes but I can't grieve over him again I have already cried enough, I took the shirt and wore it with shorts, to remember him again and the smell of it which comforts me since my mum is always not around because she's always going out for work and business trips, so I am always at home alone just doing normal stuff at least its good cause am really tired of the changing and moving to new places and schools, i went to the kitchen to get some biscuits and nutella to the living room, i sat on the couch watching TV and scrolling through channels, after awhile I got tired and went to bed, after brushing my teeth and changing to pj short and still wearing my dad shirt but as i looked through the window I saw a pair of midnight blue eyes with a hint of gold looking at me from the deep forest full of trees, immediately i closed the windows with my curtains as fast as i could and jumped on my bed, i tried not thinking of it so i could get a good night sleep for the next day.
